The Bradford Rooftop — Restaurant in Bridgewater Township

We just recently went to the Bradford to celebrate a birthday. After reading some of the reviews I was a little skeptical going in but I have to say we had a great experience!

The check-in process downstairs was smooth and seamless. The girl sent us upstairs where another girl was waiting for us and brought us right to our table. There was no wait time. Our table was positioned right near the window, although it was open it was very warm inside.

We were there for brunch so we all ordered different dishes and some bacon and fruit to share. The only minor issue was that everyone’s meals came out at a different time, but it didn’t bother us.

Our Waitor, Austin was very nice and attentive. He had many other individuals helping him constantly checking to see if we needed anything. The drinks were good as was the food. They have many different signature and seasonal cocktails you can choose from, as well as a full bar. The whipped ricotta was delicious for brunch, as well as the Nashville Chicken Sliders (very spicy!!). The bill was pricey but I think that’s something you know going in.

One thing that really stood out to me was the design and decor in the entire restaurant. From the couches to the bathroom you could tell everything was selected thoughtfully. It is really a beautiful place. They did have a DJ for brunch but it was not overpowering or loud. I would love to come back on a weekend night to see what it’s like!

Read me 😁 So I'm start off this place look beautiful. If you want to take nice pictures for your social media, this is the perfect place. I mean Im telling you, it's a beautiful place. Even the bathroom is nice. But I want y'all to be prepared when y'all come here. There is valet parking. You can't deny it either. Be prepared that u will not eat well here. I asked for Nashville chicken sliders. They were spicy but there were no sides included in the meal. I don't even get a garnish on the sliders and I paid $30 for 4 baby sliders. They wasn't all that. My friend order calamari. Her plate looked so good. I was about to ask my server to change my plate for her's but they ONLY GAVE HER 9 pieces of calamari. The rest of it was fried jalapeño. What's if my friend was allergic to jalapeño(thank goodness she wasn't). But the menu did not state that the calamari will be fried with jalapeño. also let's keep in mind that she paid $19 for this. Then we asked for Henny Lemon drop. I never been to a place that they put a Lemon drop in a small wine glass. This drink wasn't even filled to the top and I paid $20 for a small half of a glass. I took baby sips. This isn't how you get a customer wanting more. My server was taking forever to serve us. They put us in a seating area like we do not even matter. This was my 1st and last time. If y'all go there just take pictures, DO NOT EAT. EAT BEFORE YOU GO THERE ! also the Menu is a$$. Omg even the slice of chocolate...

Bradford Rooftop is absolutely breathtaking. Nothing akin to the ambiance anywhere else locally. The wait staff was friendly but moderately inattentive. I get that the establishment is young but the “I’m new here” excuse for mistakes & minimal service industry knowledge grows tired quick. The food was very flavorful & tastefully platted. My biggest rub the wrong way was the security staff/bouncers coming off extremely rude on multiple occasions. I don’t know if they are trying to turn this place into a nightclub but the bouncer staff seemed like they came from that background which in my opinion is not & should not be the direction the business should be heading in. People are coming to this place to spend money. What myself & my party received in terms of attitude is not the type of way you want to be rubbing first time guests who could be repeat customers. I could get into more detail but I’m not here reviewing to get specific staff members in trouble, more so to let the business know where some holes need to be filled in. This place has so much potential to be great. It’s structure of food, beverage, & elegance can easily be a 5 out of 5. They just need to weed out the bad apples in the bunch.
