Went in to try out the place after the previous owners retired. Asked for Beef Stir Fried with Mushroom. The women behind the counter repeated my order back to me twice and even the gentlemen in the back had to come check up on her while she was working the register. With the both of them handling my order they gave me something completely different. Their menu stats Beef w. Mushroom with Rice. She tells me it comes with pancakes when I asked how big the portion of rice was. I was confused as to what she meant and she told me it does not come with a side of rice. I also ordered some Teriyaki Chicken on a stick to finish up my order. While I was waiting the women brought out the Teriyaki Chicken first and it was delicious. Having my fill of the chicken I received the rest of my order. I should have checked it there at the restaurant before going home, once home I opened up the bag and saw the "pancakes" called Moo Shu and the main dish was shredded vegetables and some meat. Clearly this is not Beef stir fried with Mushroom like I asked for when they took my order. She must of got confused with Beef Moo Shu, which is something else they sell on their menu. First time buying and eating food under the new management and this will be my last time buying...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would prefer not to give bad reviews to family owned businesses, but this is so bad I must. The food is probably one of the worst in the cities. I've had bad Chinese food in other states, but usually in MN most are at lease good enough to eat. Either the cook doesn't have any experience or they put zero effort into cooking. I ordered the lunch special of sesame chicken. I'm not even sure I would call what I was given fried rice. It was brown, but that is about it. The flavor of the sesame chicken was terrible. The only thing good I can say is the portion size was good for a lunch special. The problem is the food was so bad I barely could eat a quarter of it. Probably less. I would also skip the egg roll as they are worse than frozen ones you can buy at a grocery store. I would recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreordered takeout and got salt and pepper chicken wings, seafood delight, hot and sour soup, wonton soup, and beef with mixed vegetables. They were nice enough to throw in free donuts, which were really good!
The chicken wings were okay but nothing too specialāI was hoping for a bit more salt and pepper flavor. The seafood delight tasted fresh and flavorful, though at nearly $17, I would have expected a few more shrimp (only got three jumbo ones). Also, it would be helpful if they labeled imitation crab meat accurately, as it could be confusing to others who assume itās real.
The beef and mixed veggies were solid, but the hot and sour soup wasnāt quite to my taste. Overall, Iād say itās worth trying at least once to see what you think. Iām not sure if weāll come back, but it was a...
