Pancheros Mexican Grill - Brooklyn Park — Restaurant in Brooklyn Park

This was my first time at Pancheros, at the request of my boyfriend's cousin. This is his favourite fast food place, and we were very impressed. We arrived right at opening (10:30am), to smiling faces and wafts of pulled pork and pico de Gallo. We ordered 2 tacos and 2 burritos. The tortillas were all FRESH PRESSED (another first for me), and there were tons of fresh toppings to choose from. My boyfriend and I both took advantage of the unlimited toppings experience, and loaded up on beans, meat, peppers, guacamole, and salsas.

Now, what you're waiting for, the review of these tacos and burritos. As it was 10:30am and we had a long day of driving ahead of us, we decided to sit down and eat the tacos in the restaurant, and take the burritos to go (more on this later). The tacos were superb. The tortillas were soft and chewy, and the toppings were fresh. Every bite was packed with flavour. I would highly highly recommend getting the tacos. The burritos were also delicious, but I would not recommend eating them in the car, or if you do, make sure to make a canopy of napkins below in order to catch falling toppings and sauces. It took me pretty much the whole drive to finish my burrito, but I wouldn't have wanted any other all-day driving snack.

Wannabe Chipotle or Qudoba lol. Only reason I'm taking off a star is because I had an upset stomach afterwards. This was the only meal I ate that day so I'm fairly certain of it.

Meat is so-so. Other flavors are good. I hated how they cut the chicken into tiny cubes. Most solid ingredients are cut to about the same size, so you get this homogenous mix of food. I like being able to bite into different parts of my burrito/bowl and experience different flavors.

The bowls are shallow with a tall lid. Not sure how I feel about this because I did feel full after eating. Not sure how this compares to other places.

Fortuna really made the experience very nice. This was my first but not last time here. I would only be so lucky to be greeted and helped by this young lady with a vibe that's contagious every time I return. I was so extremely tired after my second 12 hour day this week. She was so chill and kind, Fortuna brought a smile to my oh so tired cheeks. She asked me to taste my taco so she could see my reaction. I did, and we laughed, and everything was good.
