This was our first time at Freddy's. We loved the food. Their smashed burgers taste super good on a nice bun. The fries are very thin cut which gives them a lot of flavor. I think they're the best fast-food fries I've ever had. The frozen yogurt desserts were really good too. We dined in and it's got the ambiance of a classic 50s diner. Now here's why I didn't give them 5 stars, and this is less Freddy's fault and mostly society's fault... There were too many employees to make the place run efficiently... all young teenagers.... who were all like Zombies. They moved very sluggishly, didn't have any banter between them, and just stood around not daring or not caring to do anything extraneous. Directionless is the correct term. Meanwhile... the place needed cleaning, the condiments, lids, and straws needed to be replenished, and there was an unkempt aire about the place. Thankfully I didn't use the restroom. I know how hard it is to find employees in the middle of a Scamdemic when our government is literally paying people to be unproductive. Freddy's has to figure out how to get more from their Zombies. If I ran the place, I'd concentrate on hiring quality not quantity. We will be back because of the food and their prices are not as unreasonable as some other...
Read moreWhen you first walk in, there is nobody at the counter to take your order. We stood there about 10 minutes before the kid got to the counter. Then he got our order wrong. The first time I went back, I had ordered a cheeseburger plain & it had everything on it. The second time I went back, the burger was WAY over seasoned & tasted like they dumped a saltshaker over it. 3rd times the charm, right? Not here. The 3rd burger wasn't AS inedible but was still rather salty. The cheese fries were good but not enough cheese for that big of an order. The place was disgusting as well. Garbage & food all over the floor, not a single table had been wiped in a while. I had to wipe down our booth before we could sit at it. The condiment pumps were empty as well as most of the lids. I will give kudos to the manager on duty. She was very kind & understanding even after I saw her struggle with the ice cream machine & knew she was frustrated. She handled my burger situation very well; including making my 3rd burger herself. Aside from her, I do not recommend this location. If you want a good Freddy's experience, go to the cities...
Read moreFirst time to Freddy’s just to try their “steakburger”. Ordered the California Combo Meal, hold the thousand island sauce. Once I seen a photo of their skinny fries, I knew they would be greasy because skinny fries have twice the surface area exposed to the frying oil than thicker cut fries. Same goes for the salt, but I took a chance after requesting NO salt on my fries, even if I had to wait extra time for them. They said, no problem but, the fries came with salt all over them & had to send the whole order back to be redone right. Freddy, I see you have a lot of customers that are happy with your choice to serve deep-fried shoestring potatoes, but compared to most other non-healthy fast food joints, you are serving fries that are twice as unhealthy. If you care at all whether your customers will live long enough to order from you again, you should ditch those fries and offer steak fries to go with your steakburgers… For a few bucks more, I’ll continue to get my gourmet burger & salt-free STEAK fries...
