My daughter and I were supposed to enjoy a nice cinnamon roll in Las Vegas while she was home on summer break; however, that didn't occur, which was unfortunate. Although, it was beneficial for me from a health standpoint because that was one less sweet treat consumed. Recently, I traveled to Colorado with my daughter because school was about to begin at her University and I was there to help her move in. There were a few things we needed to purchase from miscellaneous businesses across Broomfield (where my hotel was located) and visiting the Flatiron Crossing Mall in Broomfield was one of the places.
When we were walking through the mall on 23 Aug 2024, I couldn't help but "follow my nose" towards the rich, sweet aroma of what I thought were cinnamon treats of some sort. It quickly got my curiosity going; however, we went inside another store causing the smell to temporarily go away. As we exited the store, I happened to look around and EUREKA...from a distance (with my near-sighted vision), I noticed Cinnabon. It didn't take long to convince my daughter to get one of those Cinnabon rolls and seeing that they weren't busy at all, made it all the more enticing to want to go (yes, I'm impatient and cannot stand waiting in long lines, especially when it's moving at snail speed).
The visit was simple and as much as I wanted to, we didn't partake in gluttony by purchasing an enormous amount of food - we just opted for one Classic Roll to share. The flavor of the roll was familiar and satisfying, but unfortunately for us, the cinnamon roll did not contain the adequate (desired) temperature. Luckily for me, I'm not too critical of the small things with respect to food, and given the fact that I was spending quality time with my daughter far outweighed this minor flaw. Regardless, that center part of the roll just cannot be replaced with anything...it might be equally as satisfying as oxygen...or even the rib cap from a top quality ribeye (IYKYK).
The one thing I wasn't too keen on was the lack of friendliness from well, just one of the employees (our cashier - older gal). I'm not expecting any type of hugs and overbearing smiles from employees, but just cracking at least one smile when we walk up to the counter, order our food, pay, and/or provide "a tip" would be greatly appreciated. Aside from this, I still enjoyed the majority of the visit even though it was a quick one. If you haven't experienced Cinnabon before, then for one, I'm sorry you lived a sheltered life; and two, I highly recommend it to everyone regardless of how many times you've...
Read moreI went to get cinnabon for the first time today and I felt horrible after. I went up to order and I just knew I wanted the small cinnamon rolls. I asked for 3 of them thinking I would get 3 super small cinnamon rolls. After I payed she handed me 3 box’s and I realized I had messed up so I just asked if there’s anyway I could just get one of them and refund the rest. The packs had 4 each in them so I had 12 and I just only wanted 3 which I later realized you have to get 4 because they come all together. That was my mistake however this isn’t why I’m leaving a 1 start, when I asked for a refund they were very rude and told me they can’t refund it and just kept making me feel bad for my miscommunication. I honestly felt so embarrassed so I just kept apologizing and said it’s okay I’ll just take these and go. The lady taking my order seemed like she didn’t wanna be working there and very annoyed which I get but I just don’t think that’s how you treat people. As soon as I left I went to my car to try one which they all ended up being cold. I even tipped them and everything and I’m just frustrated how I was treated. I have a hard time in public and this honestly made me feel really horrible and I don’t think I’ll...
Read moreCinnamon rolls are dry, not a lot of icing, we thought that coming to the official store the quality was going to be superb, but a the small stores inside some of Maverick gas stations, service is better and the quality and taste is the taste they should have. If you want to have a delicious Cinnabon, this location is a must pass. Also the last 2 times the guy , his name is Don, that was the one at the front counter was not very friendly. One time the place was busy , today the place was empty and he was just counting flies, we got there and again not friendly at all, maybe he needs a vacation. This location will no longer be our first choice anymore. I should have read the mostly 1 star reviews before going there. They need to improve. The Flatiron mall has a lot of empty business space and will be a pitty to see this one go. There is always room...
