I was so not impressed with this place. I don't expect top-notch quality of anything out of a Freddy's; however, after tipping 25% on my husband's and my order, I expected at least some care to be taken. His order was fine. I was given a sandwich nowhere even CLOSE to what I'd ordered. I went back up to the counter to let them know I'd gotten the wrong sandwich (I'm pretty understanding about this, especially as I've worked in food service before). After standing there, being studiously ignored for several minutes, I finally managed to flag over one of the guys assembling the orders. He seemed quite irritated that I was taking up his time. I explained that I'd received the wrong sandwich, when I was cut off by another assembler, who demanded to know what sandwich I had, and then proceeded to blame ME for the mix-up (I'd double-checked our ticket number before taking the tray they told me was ours). He then snatched the sandwich I'd been mistakenly given, thrust my correct sandwich in my hand, and practically threw the other sandwich at another patron on the other side of the counter. On looking down at "my" sandwich, I could very clearly tell that someone (not a staff member) had opened and pulled apart my sandwich - as I'd done with the other sandwich, when I was trying to decide if it was actually what I'd ordered. I looked over to the other patron and told him as much, at which point I requested to have my sandwich remade, as I was not okay with receiving a sandwich someone had already taken apart. Much attitude and, again, blaming me later, I received a new sandwich.
I'll never go back to Freddy's again. For the ridiculous prices they charge on what is essentially McDonald's with slightly better soft-serve, the attitude I received for simply asking for what I'd ordered and paid for was absolutely...
Read moreI love Freddy's. I go to the one off South Kipling in Littleton often and have never had an issue. We were in Boulder and stopped at this Freddy's for late dinner before heading to the hotel. We went inside because I wanted to order in person. I ordered a Freddy's double with cheese and asked for it in a lettuce wrap because I had recently had surgery to remove cancer in my throat and tongue and can't eat bread. I also asked for Freddy's sauce instead of mustard. Well, needless to say, when we arrived at the hotel and I started to eat, my mouth was on fire. I opened up the lettuce and looked, and the entire burger was saturated in Freddy's spicy fry sauce. I'm not sure if this was a vindictive move because we showed up 10 minutes before closing or something else. All I know was that my burger was not edible, and I had to trash it and settle with granola bar from the lobby. I am extremely disappointed in...
Read morePretty mediocre at best. It's a step above Wendys, Burger King, etc but not much more. Paper thin burger patty, over cooked and slapped on a bun. Some kind of bland sauce, It seemed like the first couple of bites were OK but by the time you get through about half way you are really grateful for all the pickle and onion. Went for the first time on Saturday with the wife and mother in law. They just made the burger however they wanted - three out of three were wrong. I hate having lettuce and tomato on a burger and said no lettuce or tomato at least twice. You guessed it - they put on lettuce and tomato. The fries were those really skinny fries and had virtually no flavor so I used their "fry sauce" which tasted like ranch dressing with a little ketchup.
Go to Smashburger, Larkburger or Five Guys - all better...
