Look at the attitude of the owner when I made a negative comment on his Facebook page. After that, he and his cronies stalked me on Google and looked at pictures of me, my cat, my business and he continued to make horribly demeaning, insulting, hateful remarks to me just because I said I don't like his pizza. Social media is social. It's about opinions, and they aren't all in agreement with you. But you don't have to be Evil and hateful. Boycott this owner for how he treats women who don't worship him. Learn a lesson from someone just like you in Hollywood. Learn how to treat people and tell the truth. I have a lot of powerful friends and plan to let them all know not to eat your pizza. Because they actually respect me. And now he is having all of his followers who don't know me or my business stalk me online and leave negative reviews for my business and lie that they have done business with me and I stole their money. How unethical can a business be? Anyone who supports that kind of hate deserves misery. Oh and he says I am the only person who doesn't like his pizza? Really? Look at all the one and two star reviews here. That tells the story. My business only had 5 star reviews. And what does my business have to do with you and pizza? He then challenged me on Instagram to come into his store on Friday and say it to his face. Today, I went to my attorney, the police, and common pleas court. You and your friends need to cease and desist attacking me, damaging my business by submitting false reviews and slandering me. I HAVE eaten your pizza and CAN leave a real review. Have you used me for marketing or have any of your friends that you can leave a review? I am tired of the name calling and insulting me and my cat and saying things about me that I am hateful, have no class, am negative, am an awful human when YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW ME OR MY SITUATION. I said nothing about you personally. I am allowed to dislike your pizza and think it tasteless. No sauce, salty, greasy to where it is in a pool of grease that soaks the cardboard. As a business owner you have an obligation to be professional with your business accounts. I am not slandering you through my business accounts. You also can save a customer. You could have reached out, asked why I dislike it so much, offered to make me a pizza or a salad instead, and saved a customer and saved face. Behaving this way is childish. I am completely shocked by you. I know how to do customer service and turn an experience around. Something you need to learn. Fake Google accounts continue to be created with 1-star reviews left for my business. I have never experienced such...
Read moreTo see this third rate pizza garner an overall 4.7 stars on Google is mind boggling and confounding. I am in the pizza business in New York State (with a consistent 4.9 star Google rating that we earn through high quality ingredients and over the top customer service) so I know a little bit about pizza. This is, without question, the worst pizza I’ve had in Ohio. They start with a greasy, flavorless crust, add almost indiscernible sauce whose lack of flavor matches the crust and top it with low grade mozzarella. I use Grande cheese in my shop — the most expensive and best mozzarella generally available in the industry. It is creamy, rich, delicious and melts beautifully without burning. Ohio Pie’s cheese, on the other hand, is oily, flavorless and burned even though they use a conveyor oven (a method which has never produced a first rate pizza —- it’s a method designed for convenience and ease of use and to avoid the higher level of training required to cook in a deck oven). We ordered the specialty pepperoni pizza (with ricotta and “Nick’s” hot honey) and the garlic cheesy bread. The pepperoni was the only quality ingredient I encountered in this order. It was a higher end cup and char product with good flavor. The ricotta was lower end — thickened with guar gum and other chemicals rather than being made simply with milk , salt and enzymes the way good ricotta is made. The off brand hot honey (not Mike’s) was barely noticeable. Mike’s is now available in the original heat level and extra hot. Ohio Pie should look into upgrading. The cheesy bread was made not with real butter but with a low grade margarine-based product. The pizzas reminded me of Pizza Hut pan pizzas — but much less good. Ohio Pie sets their oven to create a little bit of a char on the edges of the crust, presumably to simulate the superior cooking of a deck oven, but the bottom of the crust remains doughy and soggy with grease and the economy mozzarella burns. Honestly, gas station pizza or a good frozen pizza cooked at home is superior to what Ohio pie puts out. And, they are not shy with their prices — the medium specialty pepperoni and a small cheesy bread set us back $30.00 —- a fair price for a quality product, but highway robbery for this substandard...
Read moreWas trying to talk to the lady behind the counter as I picked up my pizza when my husband (who is away) called, so I had to answer. We grew up here in Brunswick and we've been away for a very long time. Our town has had some good pizza places in its time, that we remembered, but I wanted to tell her that since we've come back that Ohio Pie has been THEE PLACE. We were disappointed where we were on the west coast, because Ohio seems to just... "know" pizza and they did not. Every mom and pop place we had gone where we used to live was the same- soggy, flavourless crust, bland sauce- and exact same boring toppings no matter where you went. It was a sad affair being an Ohioan that loves pizza that was lost in flavourless Utah. Upon arrival home, we saw this place recommended and Ohio Pie has just BLOWN anything we ever remembered about Ohio pizza places out of the water!! Ohio Pie Co was the absolute best welcome home, slap to your tastebuds pizza we have ever had! Seriously if you love pizza- go here. You wont leave disappointed. Best crust hands down, delicious choices and various sauces and toppings. They put a spin on a pie you wont find...
