Best bet if it’s really late to go to Carl’s Jr or Jack in the Box!!!… I really hate to make this review but I’m hoping maybe someone higher up will see all the negative reviews and try and do something to fix some of the issues.. I went to the drive thru at around 12:30am on 11/18/23. When I pulled up there was about 4 cars waiting. They had one of the lanes blocked off. So I knew I’d be waiting a little bit but still went.
It took approximately 25 minutes just to get to the speaker box to place my order. I was unable to get out of line but regardless I figured I had waited that long already might as well see it through and get my burger and fries..
So I finally get to the speaker box and first thing I do is ask if I can use a coupon from the app. Free medium fries with purchase of at least $2. He was very polite and said yes. Then I ordered a double cheeseburger. I don’t get them very often only when I have a craving but I love McDonald’s fries (usually). After waiting now about 30 minutes already he informs me that they’re only serving spicy chicken sandwiches, nuggets and fries. I can’t eat the spicy chicken sandwiches for medical reasons so obviously that was a no-go. So unfortunately I opted for a 6 piece nugget and the medium French fry. If I would’ve known they didn’t have burgers, I would’ve left if I could.
So after another 15 minutes of waiting I finally get to the window. He was polite the whole time. Hands me my bag after I pay, I ask for salt and he gives me two packets.
As I’m pulling away towards the front parking lot I grab a couple fries like I do and probably everyone does. And after waiting a total of 40/45 minutes… the French fries were stone cold and stale 😕😞 Such a disappointment. I then pull off into the next parking lot and open the nuggets and they too were very cold, old and shriveled.
Since it took so long just to get this food to begin with, there was no way I was going back through. Unfortunately this is not my first bad experience with the nighttime McDonald’s drive thru. You’ve got a 50/50 shot on your fries being yucky and definitely plan on waiting.
I went across the street to Carls Jr. I spent a little bit more money but got a cheeseburger and fries. Both were hot and fresh.. I just threw away the McDonald’s.
Calling on you Management or Owners or anyone that can help make a change! I understand it gets busy. But when there’s multiple cars in line, don’t put everyone’s French fries in a bag and by the window to sit for 30 minutes come on…
Hope the service gets better soon.. regardless I won’t be going there for a while. Sorry.. didn’t mean to make this so long. It’s just frustrating when you look forward to something simple and it completely...

Ordered food for delivery through the McDonald’s app. Received half of my order. Called customer service & spoke to a representative outside the country. He apologized for the missing items and offered to refund me for those items. Said I would receive the refund 24 to 48 hours. I explained to him that since I only received half of my order, only two of my children will be eating dinner tonight. He apologized and said that’s all he could do. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said he was unable to transfer and someone would call me back. I refuse to hang up and told him I would wait for a supervisor. Magically he was able to transfer She got on the phone and told me she was only able to offer me the partial refund which I would receive in 1-3 days. I told her that was completely unacceptable. I placed an order through your companies app, I paid my hard earned money & received half my order. Getting a refund in 3 days is not going to feed my children tonight. She told me that’s all she could do. Her name was Ananne and she was located offshore. I asked to be transferred to someone in the states & she said she had no ability to do that or to offer a redelivery of my order. I questioned how a multibillion company like McDonald’s does not have the capability to transfer a call or resend my order. Read moreI don’t like complaining but today I had to.. the drive through made a mistake and didn’t apply my buy one happy meal get one happy meal for $2.00 .. it’s fine I asked for a refund at the window.. The manager Marcella said the guy gave me a FREE drink to make up for the happy meal to come out to $2.00 but the drink was $1.29 my happy meal was 5.88 I’m due a $3.88 refund .. I said the drink doesn’t equal the refund she said do you want the .70 cents for the $2.00 I said yes she got upset with a tone and terrible attitude like I inconvenienced her. I went inside the store to get the rest of my refund ($1.88) the young man who tried to help was sweet and apologetic but eventually got the “Manager” Marcella she had an immediate poor tone and once again I felt like I was inconvenienced for asking for my refund .. she was short mannered and even cut me off when trying to explain show her the remaining due, she handed the money with out saying a word to me and started to walk off, I asked for her name she mumbled low I asked again and she confirmed she was the manager I said well your tone and attitude since the window was nice at all and I’m being very polite to fix an error. She still didn’t apologize not once until I was about to walk away it was a very condescending forced tone and the guy standing at the cashier was looking and I can tell he felt bad and the customers around.
