Me and my boyfriend like eating K-BBQ this place is on our top 3 favorite spots. Each time we come in we would get greeted by a nice male hostess. Which I believe it’s the owner, the food is always good the employees are always nice and we haven’t had a bad experience until today. We came in to celebrate Valentine’s Day, we had in mind that since it’s a holiday it would be busier than usual. We were right it was busy we decided to wait since the wait time on the tablet wasn’t that long. I do want to mention that there was no hostess when we came in so we couldn’t confirm if the waiting time was right. We decided to put our name on the waiting list not knowing that we would had to wait for more than an hour. Just for the server, to let us know that you be closing soon. We were seated 3-10 after the server had announced that. We are not going to have to cook, order and enjoy our meal on time. We still had to wait for the utensils, cooking utensils and side food, etc. what got me mad is that the female hostess couldn’t inform us before the the clock it 10pm. we had to leave since we were not going to have time. Why couldn’t the host do her job she just stood and not saying any word in the one hour we waited. Not only did I not eat but I lost an hour of my time. That I could have spent eaten some were else. She ruined my experience why couldn’t she do here job and informed us instead of standing looking like a dumb ass. Will not...
Read moreI’ve tried a decent amount of places of ayce bbq places and this ranks as one of the worst ones. First off, we were celebrating friends birthdays so we brought a cake - we asked them to put it in the fridge and they took it to the back. By the time it hit the table the normal cake was melting. We asked if it was in the fridge but I think they lied based on the state of it and that the box was warm. The meat is mediocre - the best is the galbi. Everything else was meh even the brisket which is sad. Banchan was meh. Service was meh - I don’t think they have a good system down. The appetizer order goes into the iPad - everything we tried from the chicken to the soup was bleh, and the fries were almost raw. The only good one was the kimchi fried rice. Portions are super small but I guess that’s fine because they’re not got. It was unclear how we got meat - we had to ask multiple people and it took a while to get our orders. It was a hit or miss - sometimes it would come quickly or just not at all. After the first orders, they started giving our 4 people table just 2 pieces of galbi, unlike our other table which was getting 4 pieces. Idk if they thought we couldn’t eat as much or what but after I clearly asked for 4 pieces - the server said he would put a “double” order. Clear BS. After I asked for a Not great for an ayce place. Idk IMO this...
Read moreThe food was good, but the service was interesting to say the least. We had good interactions with a few servers, who checked in and offered to change the grill top. Though every other person who checked in and or took orders was- kind of off putting. I dont want to say rude, but their demeanor was very demanding and low energy. "What else do you guys want?" Was commonly used after my party of 6 placed an order for the table. Which I felt that the server was asking in a demeaning way. On top of that, one of the members of our party was waiting for the rest of us to arrive, they were bombarded with questions on when we would arrive. Being that their parking situation was abysmal, all of us arrived to the restaurant on time but could not find parking. It even seemed like the manager of the neighboring business was fighting with the owner of the restaurant over the parking situation! The security from next door flagged us down in order to enforce their strict parking. Lastly, the camera man roaming the restaurant and taking our photos was a nice touch, but the pricing to recieve any of the photos taken was- egregious. All in all, the overall experience was not worth...
