I had been feeling lightheaded and was getting really hungry. All I'd had to eat since we arrived was french fries. It was around 4pm and before I got in line, I skimmed the menu, didn't see options that fit my dietary needs so I asked a cashier as I had been told earlier in the day that restaurant was a good choice. The cashier confirmed that they had gluten free hamburger buns and veggie patties. So we got in line. After a short 5-10min wait I ordered chicken strips and fries for my kid and a gluten free veggie burger for myself. 5, 10, 15, 25mins go by with me standing there feeling sicker and sicker by the minute. My kids food sat in the window for nearly 10mins before it was handed to us and they went and sat by themselves to eat while I continued to wait, only to be told that they'll refund me for my meal as they actually did not have any veggie burgers. I couldn't believe it took them that long to realize they didn't have something for me. So they gave me fries and that was my 2nd meal of the day, more fries, for my first visit to Knotts Berry Farm in 6yrs since becoming a vegetarian. Not vegetarian friendly 👎🏽 My kid ended up eating the fries they gave me as the ones with the chicken strips were cold and hard from sitting under the heat lamp for too long. They also only dumped seasoning right on top of the fries, so it was super salty on top and I went for the unseasoned fries on the bottom. Just overall...
Read moreJust recently went bc it’s the new year and I’ve got a season pass. Despite it being the first week of the new year the lines were abysmal for food. It took about 1 hour 50 mins to get three plates of the chicken tenders at 12:50pm. There were so many kids screaming and yelling near me when I finally found a table for my family. I wanted to look for other tables but most were to close to other big parties of park goers and were grimy and dirty with pieces food.
I’ve been to knotts for years and Sutter usually has the best seasoned fries and gives pretty big sized chicken tenders. That was not my experience for the past two visits; my first visit of this year and my last visit of last year.
The fries were cold and bland, no seasoning salt whatsoever. It just made me give most of my fries to my younger siblings who eat anything. The fries took of up less than half the plate when you actually put the fries in a pile instead of having them spread out flat (how they present the fries makes it seem like it’s a full plate of fries).
Then the chicken tenders… most of them are shorter/smaller than the fork they give you. They give you 4 of these chicken pieces.
If you have kids or are going with family or friends and are looking to share plates bc of how expensive the food is, you’re gonna have to pick something other than tenders or get food before hand bc the portions are getting sad...
Read moreFirst time ordering from here. They have just a few choices - chicken fingers, burger and cheeseburger, and a buffalo chicken burger. Then they have fries, drinks, and I also noticed grab & go cookies.
Fortunately, the line was pretty short - and we were helped by Amanda who was very friendly and greeted us with a smile!
We couldn't decide on which burger to get so she made a suggestion of her favorite burger - her description made it sound really good so we went with it. Also, I liked that she suggested a beverage of boysenberry punch and lemonade - kind of a Knott's Arnold Palmer - and let me tell ya - it's real tasty!!
We did have to wait a few minutes for our burger, but the wait wasn't too bad (*I noticed some other reviews complained of the wait time) - but personally, I'd rather wait a little bit for my food to be freshly made, rather than getting something that was pre-made and sitting under a heat lamp.
But if there were more people in line to order, I could see how the wait time could add up.
But we had a great experience which I really...
