Vape Away — Local services in Bulverde

I been here a few times. My first couple of visits were fine but my last two was terrible.The first of my last two visits I was being rushed and today I just left without purchasing anything because I was told I need to ask someone before looking at merchandise behind their counter. But my thing is I was never told that I needed to ask before going behind the counter before. People were able to go behind the counter to look at stuff without issue. It wouldn't have been an issue if they were at least nice about it. The man behind the counter where I went to said "It would have been nice if you asked first before coming back here". Then another employee went on to sat that they were implementing a "New Policy". Ok then what the guy behind the counter should have said was "I'm sorry sir but we have a new policy where we require customers to ask before walking behind the counter." Or something along those lines. But NO they chose to be rude. After these last two visits I think it's safe to say that I am either not welcomed here or people like me aren't. There was also a tall bald white guy who kept giving me a smug look as if I did something to him the second I walked through the front door. I should have know from that point that I wasn't welcomed. I'm honestly so sick of being mistreated, discriminated and being spoken to in a certain manner because I'm different than the people serving me. This is why sometimes I am hesitant walking into an establishment where all the workers are white because the chances of me being discriminated against is higher than a business where they have different races of people...

My fiance and I love this place. Great price, absolutely huge selection on everything, cool vibes, easy to get to location, fair prices. Staff is pretty knowledgeable and friendly, there's only one employee I prefer not to deal with as he leaves a little to be desired with people skills, but he's not rude or unpleasant, just a personality thing.

The owner is an amazing woman, very personable, and helped me make an informed decision on which products would be better suited for me all while helping me stay in budget. If not for her and her store I'd probably be a pack-a-day-smoker still.

This is the place to go to in Spring Branch. I've been to it's competitors around here and refuse to do business with them again because Vape Away is the best around. No one else gets close to the quality of service...

I’ve always been treated so nicely at this place. I make it a regular stop to get new vapes because of their knowledgeable staff and variety of products. However, today I bought a vape like usual and was told I would no longer be accepted as a customer because the guy at the counter believed my ID to be fake. I understand being strict and taking precautions to prevent minors from buying nicotine products — but I’m almost 30 years old. Colorado IDs have had a new look since 2022. This interaction was unnecessary and genuinely sucked. Instead of being convicted in your opinion of what Colorado IDs are supposed to look like, how about a quick google search to educate...
