As a German, I can attest that the absolute best German products are available here. Everything from my childhood and youth can be found here, and it's all of the best quality. The owners are super nice and I was able to chat with them for a long time. The sausage and meat are fresh and the sausages are prepared just like in Germany. Unfortunately, that's very rare in the USA. In my year and a half of traveling around the continent, I haven't yet found any store-bought products of this quality. The prices aren't cheap, but because everything is imported and they're all specialties, that's OK. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop by again.

My favorite deli for sausage, salami, and German goodies. This has a large variety of pickles and sweets and other stuff. But the deli meats are what makes this place so great. There's this amazing spreadable sausage they make that is to die for. It's hanging on the wall. When I go thee, I always get the Tuscano salami, some Hungarian salami, the butter cheese, and Mortadella. Next time, I think I will be trying out their chicken and red bell pepper mortadella like thing. Also, they have great sausages to grill up. I dig the herb ones. It's one of those places that many would just drive by on 148th.

This was a fun trip to Hans Deli. This German owned spot reminds me of my wife’s #Oma. They are always so nice. On top of being amazing, they have the best selection of German candies, housemade smoked meats and other German desserts/ beers/ condiments. This place, especially with Bavarian meats moving (even if they didn’t), is special to have. If you haven’t been, go!

My husband & I drive to Metropolitan Market in Tacoma every week or two, specifically to buy special deli ham. This ham ranges in price from 24.99-99.99 per pound. We were hoping they carried it here as its much closer to home so we stopped in one day. What a horrible experience, it was. I asked the man in the deli (the one who approached us was very nice) if they carried Patanegra/Iberico ham. He did not understand me and I repeated myself. An older woman walked past another man working behind the deli counter and she asked that man "what does she want" and the black haired man who was loading the deli case, as rudely as he could, said "I dont know Abraham Lincoln ham or something" and began laughing at me. I gave them a 2 rating only because they did have alot of sausages and we buy alot of sausages and have great respect for sausage makers, but...... We will keep driving to Metro Market in Tacoma and Emish Market in Fife for sausages and other things, I dont need to spend my money where customers are not appreciated and are...

This was a weird find for me. I googled “deli sandwich” after I had a meeting in Normandy Park. I’ve been driving by this place for over 20 years and not noticed it. While it was not what I was expecting (subway, quiznos, jersy mikes). It was a very unique experience. All the meats and cheese used were sliced to order right in-front of me. All the clientele before and after me were ordering meat by the pound. It was a very authentic and flavorful sandwich like real meat and real cheese. I had a side of the mustard potato salad with my sandwich. Im not 100% sure it was homemade but it was the best deli salad. I’ve ever had. It was cool watching all the employees work together to get customers in and out. It had a very throw back family vibe going on. The bonus was that it was no more expensive than a typical sub...
