I have tried several times to give this location a 2nd chance but after the interaction I had this evening I will never return to this location ever. Don't order through the app, they push your order until the end when there's no customers in store so it's faster to just walk in and order. Last time before tonight I had to finish my cheese steak in the oven because the meat was still raw. I order at 730 tonight, arrive about 7:55. I used to work at Jersey and at any other location I go to, orders have been ready in 20 minutes or less. I understand when it gets crazy busy it can take longer, but if you walk in and there's only one customer paying, you would assume your order is ready. It was not. The slicer decided to go to the bathroom instead of make my order. Fine. She then goes to take her time to fill up her soda while I'm waiting for them to make my order. Ok I get it, you might have had a busy dinner rush but to be taking your time and standing there listening to the conversation I'm having on my phone after filling your soda instead of making my order is kind of ridiculous. Unless it's your break time why am I waiting 20 plus minutes for my order to be made when there's no one else waiting? Then the lady wants to inform me that I'm twenty minutes early but that they will go ahead and make my order. It wasn't a timed order so I don't understand why they wouldn't have made my order as soon as it came through their system. Why do I have to wait a full 45 minutes just because that's what the computer said when there's no other orders are customers in front of me? Why do online orders get pushed to the back and all customers in store have to be helped first, doesn't that defeat the purpose of online ordering? I have worked at multiple restaurants and have managed multiple restaurants, you can't just push online orders to the last, you have to incorporate them with the in store orders to get both customers out in an efficient time. Then when I questioned why I should have to wait an additional 20 minutes just because the computer said that's when my order would be ready even though there were no customers in store the manager wants to come over and try to argue with me, stating that they are hiring and I said no I don't need a job her reply was something along the lines of "if you don't want to be a part of the solution you don't get to complain" well mam the solution isn't for a fourth person to be standing there watching you slice meat and I don't think the owners would appreciate the labor costs of having four employees for one order, so I think the solution would be for you to stop arguing with me and go make my sandwiches. I love the big chocolate chip cookies, I understand they run out often. I do not like the little cookies or the brownies, if I'm standing there waiting for my order why wouldn't you inform me that you are out of large cookies and ask if I wanted a brownie, smaller cookie or refund? Instead on almost every occasion that they are out of them to take it up on themselves to just substitute whatever they want. One time it was nothing and they didn't refund me either and I had to ask why I didn't receive a cookie, they responded with "we ran out" so I said can I get a refund, they said no they didn't know how to. Had to get a manager involved. Another time they tried to give me 2 little cookies even though I was standing right there. Tonight I'm standing right there and I hear her go "we are out of cookies" so the manager goes give her a brownie instead. They don't say anything to me. How hard would it have been to turn around and say "we are out of cookies would a brownie be okay?" I find it highly inappropriate to tell a customer to get a job there to be a solution to getting my order in a timely manner. There were more employees then customers in the store at the time. I know my lost business won't hurt you at all so this will fall on deaf ears but it seems your manager is stressed and nasty need some help...
Read moreIt's not that the food was bad it was just ITIT could have been a little bit better I had a pretty good sandwich I mean it wasn't terrible it was just you know the bread was so-so cause you know I got you know rosemary parmesan but you know it there was hardly any rosemary or parmesan on it I mean on 1 side there was like it must have been like maybe 3 or 4 rosemary thingS he's on there and yeah I mean the cheese was I mean I couldn't hardly taste it so anyway what they really need is they need to have parmesan cheese to be able to put on the sandwich cause their competition does that. And you know the the young woman that helped me 1st I thought her attitude was not that great I mean I expect people to look at me in the eye you know that's not much to ask huh and maybe 1⁄2 smile I mean you don't have to like so oh hey how you doing you know you don't have to get really excited but you know I'd like you to have a tiny bit of enthusiasm you know They're very tense with the toppings you know I really like a lot of tomato and they didn't put very much on there you know the slices are not huge so anyway you know as in not thick And the last thing was which is kind of stupid because you know obviously it's really hard to mix vinegar and oil I mean I did it I sort of did a good job you have to shake the hell out of it to get get them to mix and you gotta pour it right away otherwise you know it separates right away So it's a it's a lot of work to to keep them together so it's better to have them separate. On second thought I am gonna give him 4 stars cause I didn't get a free sandwich today it's hard to really complain much when you get a free sandwich so that was a good thing and I did wanna end on a positive note they did give my my friend a chips so you know that wasn't terrible cause that's easily too bucks I'm sure. And it was a large sandwich I was stuffed for 2 hours so you know it's it's a very big meal. It's really a good thing to have before a long trip cause you definitely wouldn't have to stop for a while.😋 Happy summer There were a lot of messy tables in there but it was slammed they they must have had like 15 customers in there when not when we were in there I mean they were they were going Look like they were understaffed to me it looks like they...
Read moreI would not recommend this location. I went there for a sandwich and was second in line. The gentleman who took my order was super friendly and efficient (white boy). There was another guy in the back working on take out orders. I was in the establishment over 20 minutes and my sandwich never made it to the grill. The guy in the back only put out two orders the entire time. The line was starting to build up, at one point 5 people. The white boy in the front was taking orders, making cold sandwiches, AND working the cash register. He was working super hard and asked the guy in the back to help with hot subs multiple times. The guy in the back made two sandwiches in the same time the guy In the front put 6 /7 people through the line. The entire time my ticket is sitting there waiting for the guy in the back to come up and help. When he FINALLY comes to help, again the line is long and he moves with no sense of urgency. He kept looking all around, walking slow, and not caring that the other guy was working 4x his speed.
When the guy in the front asked for help, the guy in the back looked annoyed and rolled his eyes. There was no teamwork.
To make it all worse, the manager was just sitting there on her computer. Never once offered help to her team. She wasn’t in a meeting. She sat there and watched the one person be overworked without a care in the world. We need to train managers better, and there was no reason only two people should be on staff around...
