Wendy's — Restaurant in Burien

This Wendy's location deserves to be the poster child for fast food. The food is nearly always good. It is fresh. It is hot. And it is served fast. But THE BEST part are the people who take the order and serve the food.

I think the guy who is at the first window taking the money much of the time has been there for over 20 years and loves his job in such a way that it shows by his skill, talent, and enjoyment of engaging with customers in such an upbeat way. I like going through the drive through just hoping he is working.

It does not end with him though. The friendly service and upbeat disposition of the person handing me my food at the next window is just as great.

I think a year or two ago, there were times when the inside was closed, the drive through was not, I was on foot and was directed to walk up to the drive through window. In other fast food places when I did that during COVID, I was told I could not be served in the drive through if I was not in a car.

Twice at this Wendy's over the years, there was something wrong with my order and I did not know it until a few miles down the road in my car. I mentioned it the next time I was there and they made it right.

At another local Taco fast food drive through place, I got my order wrong so many times that I stopped going. I tried contacting customer support by calling a toll free number on the receipt but that was a total waste of time after waiting on hold for a long time to get dumped into voice mail and after leaving a message the merry go round continued.

So the next time I went through the drive through at the Taco joint, I mentioned not getting my order right the last 2 times and they told me there was nothing they can do about it because it was so long ago.

I'm telling everyone, this Wendy's is an absolute roll model for all who are in the fast...

Happy November anyway I went to Wendy's yesterday 12:00 PM or something You know I thought it was fine you know the problem is that they give you like Lukewarmburger I think it's kind of lame I mean I know that there under the gun about you know cooking stuff and everything but it's seems like they're kind of getting lazy about the burger I should say that they did put quite a bit of bacon on there which was nice I mean so this is a pretty good 3 star Stars maybe this is more like a 3 1/2 stars. The chicken nuggets are OK everything else was fine I thought they were little chince on the fries but other than that you know it was ok. It was Just don't say Yeah it's kind of weird right now because I used to really like McDonald's fries so I'm kind of you know cranky Feel like I can't go there right now cause You know they don't have their s... together with the burgers or whatever Their problem Is don't know how they gonna solve this because it will be a Long time before I go back If I do. You got at least 1 star for the lemonade was very good that's what I'm kind of confused about is it you know they they're all they're really worried about the lemonade but they seem to like fall out of the wagon about the other stuff. It's pretty good seems like 16 oz so not a bad size I don't need a 32 oz. Unfortunately I'm not rich so I don't go to PCC very often but this is a very nice location. I should have gone to trader joe's and got juice you know I think they're juice is Probably the best at least sometimes the grapefruit is and so you know the location here second 2 none and It's like the bank and being by the bus station I meanWho who would be that smart to be that close to the bus...

To be honest I havent always lived in a location where a Wendys was convenient for me to frequent as a fast food option.I am now and not only do I think they're food tastes better and has a actual normal hamburger/real white meat chicken look and taste(not to mention fresh) than the other comparable fast food restaurants but (especially now during the Covid 19 situation) 2 of the locations I frequent while im working ("902 Outlet Collection Way, Auburn Wa." And "6331 S 212th St, Kent, WA") have drive thru access big enough to drive my 26' Full Size Box Truck through. I have been to other locations closer to where I live but I havent attemoted to stop at those in my work truck so I can only be sure of these. I wouldnt have been able to get lunch at certain times if it wasnt for that ability due to no dining access. So I love the food and appreciate the access. Plus they now serve a delicious breakfast thats not like the other places and tge one in Burien is open late till 2am everynight even with the Covid problem naking it difficult to access much...
