I am usually not the one to complain about anything and I don’t want to come off as rude but today was just it for me. I went with my family to eat here and mind you nothing to do with the waitresses, they were nice. Well first to start off, we get tea and I don’t know if it was the tea or just the cup but it smelled and the way I can describe the smell was like wet dog. Then when we got our food, right when our waitress puts our food down a roach crawls on tops of our table, at that point I wanted to move and so I asked. She was really polite about it and had us move, no biggie. Well we started eating our food and I was kind of already grossed out with the roach situation so was the rest of my family but I told them to just try to finish, it didn’t touch our food and mind you I am pregnant when this happened, so I am very sensitive right, I was a tad nauseous already and we stop here so I could just grab a bite to eat to feel better before heading back home. I wasn’t trying to think about it anymore since she moved us tables, I was like well let me just eat. I got the skillet with home fries and a biscuit and gravy on the side. My skillet was not great, the home fries taste like they have been out or over cooked. Then while I was eating the skillet I saw a hair in the bite I am about to take. I got grossed out again. I was still trying to just not be rude and not seem like I am complaining about everything so I just put my skillet to the side, didn’t even say anything about it and decided to eat my biscuits and gravy…. Well that wasn’t enjoyable either the biscuit was hard over baked and at that point I was ready to leave and go home. Again nothing to do with our waitress, she was polite and nice but I felt like I just had to share my experience. I came here before and didn’t have this experience, so I am not trying to knock the place, I know it’s a place where lots of people come and I am just trying to let every be aware of my experience here. Clearly they have a roach problem, it’s not in just my review but in others as well. Not to mention, it was a little expensive for the...

My friend took me here today for breakfast to celebrate my birthday. I had the hungry man meal: 2 Eggs, 2 Bacon, 2 Sausage Patties(I subbed this for 2 slices if bacon) and French Toast. I had a french toast here a while back that was almond crusted with strawberries. I didn't see that on the menu so I asked she said we can put pecans on top of it. I assumed this meant sprinkled but they were actually crusted so put on prior to cooking. This was to my delight lots of pecans too! Everything was cooked to my specifications and the French toast was perfect an not soggy! My friend got the breakfast taco plate with home fries and toast. She said it was very good. I really enjoyed today's breakfast. The waitresses were friendly. Last time I was here that wasn't the case. Two waitresses fought across the restaurant and my waitress tried to tell them to go to the back and talk to each other because you are disturbing the guests. They both turned on her and started yelling at her . my waitress apologized for this happening and I told her thank you for trying to put a stop to it and being professional. I informed the cashier/manager and she was very matter of the fat well she should have stayed out of it!!! I was shocked told her I thought my waitress was the only one acting like a professional.

Back to today I was very happy with the wait staff they were smiling and joking with each other and helping each other out with a smile. This was what I think a Diner experience should be fun staff, fast but yummy food and cozy hometown a locals...

First time coming, I got the omelet and home fries, all were delicious. Staff is friendly and atmosphere is very nice and comfy. Edit: Came back this morning, stood by the counter for 5 minutes and was greeted by absolutely no one. There were 2 girls working the floor and 2 girls working the bar. Both floor girls walked past me multiple times. One girl at the bar looked at me and I thought I was about to be greeted. Didnt happen. The first time I came, there was a much older lady working in the front and she made my visit very pleasant. I guess she wasn’t in this morning. Now look, the person reading this has zero reason to believe me but as a black woman, I’m the LEAST likely person in the room to make a situation about race but I just truly felt like I wasn’t wanted here. I moved to this part of town because I wanted to be around other people that work hard and take care of their families. We live in Crowley but I frequent Burleson and I have never been treated so poorly. Thank God I found Lizzi’s Lunchbox or my lunch would have been ruined. My food was great BTW. Anywhoo, do better guys. LOVE is the...

The service from Stacy was great! We're from out of town and had never been before, and she helped us decide what to order. The atmosphere was very comfy and it felt like everyone knew each other (other patrons came and chatted with us, it was really sweet). For the most part the food was good (coffee 10/10, and really good bacon and eggs); but the French Toast was pretty plain, and the hash browns were hardly browned and became more like mashed potatoes... We came in an hour before close (our bad), so that may have had something to do with it. We didn't mind though. It's a diner, not a Michelin Star establishment, so you get what you pay for. But staff was very friendly, and that's what makes a place great.

Passing through town and was looking for a good breakfast spot. I actually drove to a couple other places but the pictures on those reviews didn't look all that great. However, the reviews and pictures for this lovely establishment, looked really really good. So, a quick drive away from my path, arrived and was seated right away. My server was so sweet and welcoming, like I've been a long time customer. Menu looked great and I ended up choosing an omelet with some bacon on the side. Plus a pancake. Everything was delicious, tasted fresh, and came out quickly. Very happy I stopped by and I would recommend anyone passing through to skip the chain places and go homestyle.

Today was my first time to visit. I decided to go here because of the reviews. The serving size is super awesome. They are, most definitely, not stingy with the food. However, the taste is much to be desired. It was kind of bland to be honest, and the beans were under cook, not as soft as they should have been. Conversely, the service was fabulous. Stacy - our waitress - did a fantastic job. Thank you, Stacy 👏
