I was really disappointed with both the service and the food itself. I let the cashier know it was my first time and was trying to figure out their system but she just answered in a very low voice that we should start the order so I could get it. She then asked me for the items without explaining and I had to keep stumbling over my order as I figured it out on my own. I was confused by their layout and again her low tone made it difficult to understand added to the fact that she had an attitude that made it feel like she didn’t want to explain made it hard to ask her to explain once more or repeat herself. The food itself was okay at best, the sauce she picked for me wasn’t the traditional it was more of a sweet teriyaki like concoction together with spicy Mayo which was good but not was I would prefer for bibimbap. The meat tasted like bulgogi when I asked for spicy and the rice was dry and stale. Their mushrooms and spinach were undercooked and nothing had any toasted sesame oil that I could taste. I know I wanted authentic bibimbap and that affected my impression but even a twist on the traditional would have been fine if it was cooked with more care and originality, this just felt like old rice with half cooked vegetables and bulgogi thrown on top. Other staff was friendly but left the original cashier to take care of our order so can’t speak for...
Read moreMy first time here ever. Had just ordered the rice bowl with option brown rice and got all the veggies. Taste very good. Beef could be more fresh and cooks could be more friendlier. Front young lady is very helpful and lovely. I thought she was their daughter being in her 20s and all. Spoken with her and I would come back to just see her again only. She was very helpful in finding the right items and the tea with Mango and Pineapple and Boba was out of this world. I have never tasted anything that flavorful. Maybe that young lady made it out of LOVE...LOL...I will most definitely come back even though I live an hour up north in Lewisville. I will tell my friends and family. They are good cooks but both look so tired. I feel for them because my parents used to own a restaurant and you get to that point eventually but that nice young lady in the front turns their frowns a 180 degrees into smiles. She may even bring in more customers for their business. I am hooked. So one...
Read moreI have been here many times and I love the service and food so much I felt it’s finally time to leave a review. I have not tried every dish here but I have tried many, and all are very solid with flavor and portion size every time. I do feel their dishes are fairly priced, considering the portion sizes. I have leftovers every time. One of my personal favorites dishes is the Tteokbokki, it is a wonderful comfort food, and most recently they have started putting japchae in the dish, which was a nice surprise! I also love the seaweed soup they have self-serve in the front. I have tried many teas and slush drinks and all have been very good as well. The service is always friendly and helpful. I also would like to add that I love how they pack togo orders so carefully, so you get your food home without any liquids spilling out in the bag. Overall this is a 10/10 restaurant, one of my favorites in Burleson, and I usually drive an hour to Carrollton for...
