Jessica, our event coordinator, provided the McGee Law Firm with extraordinary service. We were scheduled to have a two-day event at the end of January. Unfortunately, due to HVAC issues, we could not have our event at the Hampton Inn. We were very disappointed, but Jessica stepped in and offered to call other hotels nearby to find us a location. And she did. We were so thankful for help finding a hotel for our event that agreed to the contract we had with the Hampton Inn.
On the day of the event, we arrived at the other hotel to find it not set up correctly, no one there was able to help us, our event coordinator at that hotel was not answering her phone, text, or email. As time was ticking away, we called Jessica for help, asking if she had a way to contact the other hotel event coordinator and explained the situation. Jessica, without hesitation, stepped up and tried calling all her contacts with no luck. So she went to the other hotel to assess the situation and realized that the room and everything were not set up per the contract they had agreed to honor. After some discussion with hotel staff, it became apparent that the hotel may not have all the necessary tables, chairs, and table cloths to accommodate our event. Jessica went back to her hotel and readied her supplies to bring to the other hotel to ensure we had a successful event. Finally, our event coordinator showed and begrudgingly helped get the room set up for our event.
I would love to say Jessica went above and beyond to help us with our event, but that would be an understatement. At the time of our event, we were no longer her clients, yet she stepped in and provided a level of customer service that was spectacular and certainly outside the norm. Read moreWe travel for business extensively - silver Hilton members. We were extremely pleased at the cleanliness and layout of the king suite we stayed in. It was very comfortable and very well designed, high quality. The kitchenette was really very spacious. I could not say enough good things about this hotel, EXCEPT FOR THE DISMAL FAILURE OF THEIR INTERNET. The internet in this hotel was mediocre (almost non existent) at best (holiday inn, next door has upload/download speeds of 10/11, this hotel had 0.5/0.23). We approached the front desk and inquired, they were quite uninterested in our problem, will not let us speak with their supervisor-these 2 hotels share the same internet source) You see, internet is standard service all hotels should provide these days - we do need it for meetings online etc. We even tried to show them the speedtest-they dismissed us (in action). My point of view is.... the management has failed the Hampton Inn chain -THE SUPERVISOR AND MANAGEMENT IS NOT DOING THEIR JOB-management should know that this is a problem. Their front staff is friendly, but only seem to know to check guests in and out, nothing else. The management needs to be held accountable, because it is a shame that guests like us (we have 2 rooms for 1.5 weeks) have to check out and go to the holiday inn next door just because the management is not interested/capable of feedback from their guests, and fixing this problem- this is how businesses fail, their staff only do bare minimum job-if holiday inn next door can provide proper internet service, so can the Hampton inn. I am only putting this review because we could not be heard by the staff or supervisor and also in hopes that business travellers like us would not waste your time checking in at this hotel. I’ve worked in the industry for 12 years now and have never worked with a team that has had so much heart and so much dedication to ensure that my family had the best experience when staying with them. I got married this month and needed a hotel block set up in Burleson. That was when I was connected with my friend Sam! Not only does she have THE BEST name ever, but she was THE BEST at what she does. Every time I emailed her, she was quick to make any changes needed and did it with ease and with so much love. Sam also checked in with me, let me know when the deadline was coming, how many rooms had picked up, asked if I needed anything- I truly could not have asked for a more amazing person to work with. My family had nothing but kind words to say about their experience with the staff. From the front desk team, to management, to housekeeping, EVERYONE was so incredibly kind to them! And let me tell you, they were BUSY that weekend. The rooms are brand new, extremely clean, and spacious. I didn’t get to lay on the beds, but my cousin told me her baby slept through the entire night, so I’d say they must be doing something right, lol. I cannot THANK all of you enough for your attention to detail, your true hospitality, and the genuine love and compassion you had for myself and my family.
