Gateway Station — Local services in Burleson

Went to Burleson Animal ER tonight for the first time with our 7 year old Boxer. One of our Boxer puppies scratched her eye. The staff were nice and building was clean. The only issue is that it took them 4 hours to exam her and call me. Then another 40 minutes to report back after an eye test. Then another 45 minutes to get discharge information and check her out. Plus I asked the technician to put the drops and ointment in her eye because I know she has been in pain all this time waiting patiently. I don't understand why they would not go ahead and put the ointment in her eye to let it start working to ease her pain? Anyway, we didn't get home until 2:30am - 7-1/2 hours from when we first left to go up there. I was told they had 2 or 3 critical patients to take care of first. Gateway Station is awesome! There's basically something for everyone. Dining, grocery shopping, retail shopping, gaming, and even business related entities such as FedEx & UPS. I lived in Burleson when this complex was being built over 15 years ago. I also worked for 5 years at the local Michaels here. It is a nice shopping center that has continued to expand and thrive with businesses for the local shopper. If you live in Burleson you do not have to travel far to find most stores you might need thanks to this shopping center.
