Very disappointed with customer service, purchase, Geek Squad, and local management. 1. The laptop I purchased screen cracked, less then a month after purchasing. Best Buy Geek Squad would not fix the problem, and calling the Dell Center would not fix the problem. 2. When calling the Call center several times, I was placed on long holds, sent on goose chases, and the problem was never resolved. After several attempts of figuring out where to go and how to get the screen fixed it was past the Best Buy warranty. Furthermore, when attempting to use the factory Dell warranty, Dell told me the 1-year warranty was now 8 months of warranty. I purchased the computer the same month I called and asked how this was possible. The warranty started the day Best Buy purchased the laptop not the day I purchased the laptop. Neither best Buy nor Dell would fix the purchase warranty date.3. Speaking to customer service, the lady over the phone stated she could help. with the problem, fixed the laptop at Bestbuy and scheduled an appointment at the Burlington location. However, this was a lie; I wasted my gas money, and nothing was fixed. I wasted my time, and the local representatives and managers were worthless from a technical and sales perspective.4. This location representative had me wait even though I had an appointment; there was no line, and the store was not busy. Once the Geek Squad decided he could not do anything to help, he would get a manager. I watched him go around the store and talk to the manager about the problem, and then the manager had me wait while he did mindless stuff and then came to the Geek Squad center about 15 minutes later and pretended to be a savior. Zion, I believe the name was pretended to befriend me only to try to sell me a new warranty and another laptop as if I was receiving a deal. Furthermore, none of my issues were fixed, and I was to blame for buying a protective nag from Amazon and not their store. The manager also deceived me into trying to have me purchase the warranty. He took the receipt pretending to enter information while talking about beginning a warranty to fix the problem and a discount because of the issues and then, at the end, asked me to enter my debit card information; when I asked why, he said, "I am giving you a deal on the warrant for $300. Zion is a joke. I had to beg for my receipt, and then he tried to get the laptop to keep me from leaving and trick me into purchasing other things.5. I never thought Best Buy would be a scam. They are a joke. I am spreading the word and will not purchase from this location or maybe even Best Buy. Do better or hire better. Stop...
Read more1 apple will spoil the bunch. Associates were friendly however it was one that was very annoying. If it weren't for him I would have rated best a 5. I went to purchase a computer for work. I explained very clear what requirements had to be met. I even showed a snap shot of what the requirements were. The Associate very pushy on trying to get me to purchase a device that did not met the requirement that my employer was asking for. He then handed me off to another associate because he said he's going to lunch. The associate he handed me off to was already helping someone else so I had to wait until he finished. Which lead to me waiting over 30 min and by that time the previous associate had returned from lunch. Once he returned from lunch he begin to help another group of people that arrived at least 20 min after me. I was really upset by this time but I stay calm. After about 5 min he look over asking if the associate he handed me of to had help me. I explained he was assisting someone else. So instead of helping he calls some else to the back to assist me. Adolfo - I think that's how you spell his name, if it is not I'm for the misspelling. Adolfo was more than helpful and assisted me that best that he could. I purchase an HP all in one computer which was exactly what i needed. Once I begin to purchase the HP I noticed that I didn't have the correct visa card so he saved my order just in case he wasn't there when i returned. I returned and as soon as i walked in the VERY FIRST associate that begin to assist me, he saw me walk in. So immediately he used his headset to call someone to assist me as if he did not want to be bothered. Which turned out great because I then was provided great customer service from a brown skinned guy that laughed a lot and was very friendly. Read morei purchased the ibuypower bb930 on 9/12/17. i had to return to the store on 9/13/17 at least 5 times and had to return it 3 times. i order online the computer, 2 gaming monitors, and 2 display port cords that cost me a little over $2100. when i arrived to pick my order up they said paypal has blocked the translation. called paypal and they said best buy was refusing the payment. i finally had to cancel the order and reorder it. this took over 1 and 1/2 hours in the store and i had a 9 month old kid and a 6 year old kid. had to return on 9/13/17 the 1st time because the package was missing the remote that controls the led lights and when they gave me a remote it didn't work nor did the program that controls the lights manually so they exchange it for me because they said the mother board was malfunctioning. the 2nd one had a cheaper graphics card in it so i had to return again (remind you it was the same sku and item number). when they got the 3rd computer for me it had the graphics card in it from the 1st one but no remote to control the led lights. so they took the graphic card from the 3rd one and install it in the 2nd one. finally everything is working right. the staff was great except for the manager james who keep telling me they don't make the product. me as a buyer dosen't care if best buy made it or not, best buy is the one selling it and when i purchase something with the same sku and item number i expect the same product. this is not the 1st time i have had problems purchasing items from this store and having allot of problems. out of all this aggravations i received a free 50 ft cat 6 cord (cost $40). i believe i should received more for all the aggravation i just went threw and all the gas i have wasted to solve this problem. thank you, sam...
