This was a new fun tea service in MN that my partner and I were excited to share. The giant bird cage style seating areas were really cool and there was so much whimsy there. Very Instagram worthy place to go and take pics. The lemon strawberry mini cake was delicious and the best item from the tea service aside from the vanilla black tea.
The thing that really threw a wrench in the experience was the mall bro with the rideable animal carts. Hearing daycare songs blaring (aka a single song) coming from about 50 feet away from the romantic setting completely killed the vibe. There was also some random teenage girl on one of the animal carts that kept doing circles while filming on her phone right by our seating area.
My partner and I agreed that the vision for the tea service is there but in order to flourish you should consider finding a brick and mortar shop outside of the mall and it's chaotic/weird energy. A place with natural light from outdoors would look amazing with the design elements you already have as well.
A small side note as someone that grew up being part of and hosting tons of tea parties: egg salad sandwiches are key and lighter. Potato salad on bread is very odd and the equivalent of putting spaghetti in between two pieces of bread and calling it a sandwich.
Sorry...
Read moreI went for a tea party with three of my friends. We met the lady there, whose name was Helen. She was very nice and very sweet. Whilst she was the only person there, our orders came out relatively quickly, considering we ordered a good amount of stuff. Whilst I saw the other reviews, I fear they were unfair. This is a small kiosk run by one lady, and I fear they aren’t understanding of this. Yes, the atmosphere is a bit noisy, but again, it’s a small kiosk in a not-so-busy mall. Not everyone has the means to buy a nice hole-in-the-wall shop. The drinks were very nice, the desserts were good, and it’s a nice place to go catch up with some friends or just talk. You’re paying for a delicate dining experience with friends, not a five-star...
Read moreWhile it was very cute, it did not meet expectations. We got the tea service and we did not receive the second corse of scones because they said they were out, but we were still charged the full price. The cucumber sandwich had no cucumber on it. The dessert was clearly store bought and a bit frozen. The service was very slow even though we were the only people there. In addition the location was a bit awkward being in the middle of the mall, people did stop and look at you. The place was very cute but they need some...
