Big Shot Bob's House of Wings - Weirton — Restaurant in Butler District

Waited a little time to try Bob's, considering they just opened a few months ago. So, here it goes.. First of all, it would be nice if they would answer the phone! I attempted to place order over a month ago and nobody answered the phone. So, there was a lost sale. So, I placed my order in person. Ordered a 6 piece of the Mad BBQ and a 13 piece of the butter garlic parm. The BBQ was a good sauce. The butter garlic parm was fair. But those were driest damn wings I've ever had. And I mean dry!!! They were wing ding size. I asked for napkins and the guy went into the back and returned with a couple of paper towels that he tore from a roll. No wet naps. For almost $24.... not worth it. The wait was 25 mins which is fair. But, I have never had wings that dry. I usually year up a 15 pc., but, there are 4 remaining from my butter garlic parm. remaining from a 13 pc. The BBQ sauce was wet enough to get them down. And I wasn't going to mention it, but, while sitting in the truck, waiting for the order, My dinner partner saw one of, or The cooks... step up front while liking his fingers. I thought they were joking, but, was reassured that it was not a joke. Needless to say, that's just a nasty thing to do for a cook. I got a dozen hot wings with barbecue sauce and bacon cheese fries with ranch for lunch. I was at work and didn’t get to eat for several hours but even being a bit old they were still great. I will definitely get again at some point and update my review with the new experience as well.

TL:DR- Good wings. Good flavors. Good fries. Also, order by calling. Way cheaper than online.

6/12/21 Update Got a Buffalo chicken salad for lunch today. (Picture included) I am going to describe it as this: it has a healthy amount of unhealthy on it. It was fantastic and will be getting again. Also very fairly priced.

Terrible experience at Weirton location. Incompetent workers, bad managerial skills, and horrible customer service. Paid extra for all flats and got all drumsticks in my other order. Rip off for uncooked wings. Paid extra for celery, driver had to come back because he obviously didn’t check the order. Extra money charged on receipt. Had to dispute charges. Pay attention to receipts and card charges everyone! Kennedy and Coraopolis deserve my business, but makes me not want to contribute to a company that would allow this kind of inadequacy reflect their brand. Too bad Weirton. Shame on you.
