Nio's Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Butler District

Today was my husband and my first time here. I got the baked penne with a water and he got the buffalo chicken pizza small square.

My food: Sauce was sour and small portion even though the waitress had mentioned it's a lot when I was trying to decide. I know it's silly but the water was weird tasting, almost like not clean. I can't explain the taste. I ended up getting s bottle of water Salad was very good tho

Husband: You couldn't tell it was a buffalo pizza at all ..the bread was very light and airy and pretty much non existent. Soda was flat with no carbonation

Poor experience especially compared to other Italian restaurants around here.

Went on a weeknight. Watered down one martini with ice chips left in the actual glass... shook the other martinis with ice instead of stirring. No sugar on the rims of lemon drops martinis. Espresso martini was ok but also slightly watered. Menu didn't offer a burger or any kind of real dinner options except ravioli and a meatball sandwhich...but that's not really a restaurant dinner. This is more of a bar, than a restaurant. I couldn't rate the food due to this. Staff was super friendly, though and the inside looked clean. We were fooled by Google reviews on this one. It is NOT a restaurant. DO NOT go here looking for a meal. It is a bar with an extremely limited menu; for example, only two pasta options. See the pictures of the menu that others have posted. We each ordered one of the two pastas, gave them two stars. We didn't order anything else from the menu so I can't speak to the quality of appetizers or salads. We sat in a booth, without even place mats.
