Long John Silver's | A&W — Restaurant in Butler Township

On Saturday, December 17 at about 6:15 PM we attempted to enter this establishment. We found the door to be locked despite the sign with business hours on the door indicating they should be open. I could see through the window that there were people inside at the counter area waiting for service and people were eating in the dining area. Eventually a man was exiting and pushed on the door to find it locked. When he figured out it was locked with a deadbolt, he let himself out and we entered. Customers at the counter seemed very impatient and we were greeted by a customer who said, “If you came for shrimp, forget it. They’re out. Can you believe it?” While we looked at the menu an employee, presumably a manager, charged past us into the kitchen, demanding to know if someone locked the doors. He emerged mumbling something about someone locking the doors because they were “too busy”. We decided this was not a place we wanted to be and left. Now I know from past job experience that any exit door equipped with panic exit hardware should NOT have a deadbolt lock. All bad service and other issues aside I would hope that the Butler county fire marshal address this issue before there is a disaster bigger than being out of shrimp. Obviously, I do not recommend this...

I love their chicken. People can say want they want about the place... But the chicken is amazing have always loved it and always will. Updated** cause like in most of my reviews I am asked to update them after so long. Well I am still coming here when I can. Still love the chicken it is always up to my standards when I come even ask for extra crunchy pieces and they always hook me up everytime. I swear they better leave this place alone, seems to be the only one left standing in like a 50 mile radius that I know of they are turning most of these stores into Popeyes chicken. Well Popeyes has some good chicken don't get me wrong but it is not better than long johns chicken and I will fight anyone in the subject lol. All joking aside they better leave this location alone it does just fine business. Everytime I go there always seems to be a line through the drive thru so that cannot be used as an excuse. I give my 4 stars which is basically a 5 but a 5 star you have to be pretty damn good all the way around to get one of...

I was there with my wife on May 10,2021. She ordered Long John Silver's and I ordered A % W which is the same. I asked the waitress if my burger could have only mustard and pickle on it with nothing else. I even explained no cheese, lettuce etc. I asked if this was a problem and was told no. We ate in the parking lot and when I opened my burger it had extra cheese on it. I was just going to throw it away and drink my milkshake but my wife walked to the drive through window and told the man at the window what the problem was. He started yelling at her that they could not take it back because of the virus and called her some not so nice things. Well she stood her ground and opened it to let him see it was wrong. He refused a new one and my wife said she would rub the burger over his drive thru window. A manage came over and when he found out what the problem was he immediately gave the correct order.
