They're not going to like this, but we visited a few days ago just to get lobster rolls. Big mistake. The rolls were like rocks, the lobster dry and tasteless (fell out of the "cement" rolls when the rolls were picked up to eat). Lost 1/2 of a lobster serving to the table and my clothing. Paper towels 2 small sheets on the towel roll. Booth seats- we fell almost to the floor when we sat down. Had to reach up to find the tabletop and I'm an adult who is 5'2". Rest room door filthy and peeling paint. No mayo, lemon, or tarter sauce on the self serve station. Just hot sauce, malt vinegar and ketchup. Only redeeming food was the fries and there should have been more, as we left hungry and $12.82 poorer. We were hoping it was the same as before the pandemic, but now... forget it. We won't come back. Long John Silver's was better. Heck, cat food would have been a better choice and cheaper. The restaurant was empty except for one other couple. I hope they didn't get sick from their fish, like we did from the stale so called lobster. Follow up: A rep from Capt D's called after I left a comment on their site. He was surprised but said he would be visiting the store the next day. I was assured the broken seat and the quality of food would be addressed. I advised to check the freezer and the cooler to be sure they were clean and worked well. Also to fix the seats, the peeling paints and to clean the tables and chairs. thoroughly as it was unsanitary in many ways. I still won't go back, but hopefully no one...
Read moreNot that anything will be done because I have left reviews regarding not coming on time. This time went to order and clerk said oh we didn't realize it was 1030. There was a car in drive thru and 2 customers out in lobby. We waited 35 minutes for food. Clerk stated they cleaned oil and couldn't figure out how to get the oil to heat. It was hot extremely hot in lobby. I am certain this is a state issue for it to be that hot in a public restaurant. The guy behind us waited 45 minutes and good thing he checked his bag because they left out 2 of his items. Manager was parked in the front door, went right by all of us with an unlit cigarette in her mouth, too worried about going out to smoke, than to tell customers, they were sorry for the inconvenience. Absolutely no acknowledgement from her that there were issues at her store. I know this is fast food, but there should be at least some basic common courtesy and standards of at least acting...
Read moreFood was great service was amazing till we were leaving.. we were gathering everythi g to leave and a lady came and cleaned my kids table off. were traveling back home to Indianapolis, Indiana... we love this restaurant and I sit anytime traveling south ... well we got to the car and my 11 year old son said o I forgot my watch on the table which I said ok and remembered he had it face down on the table . We went back in to get it and it was gone the only person that had been at that table was her .. which I didn't get her name when I went up to ask her another lady went to find and ask her but she was doing dishes and said she had not seen ot while she cleaned our table .. well its bologna I remember it on the table. He just got it and worked very hard to get it he bought it with his own money and I cant believe someone could take something that wasn't there's . I cant stand a thief.
