I do food delivery and out of the hundreds of deliveries I've done this was the worst experience I have had.
I walked in and the greeter had a scowl on her face, and before I could finish telling her what I was there for, she interrupts me and tells me to go to the bar. I had to force them to acknowledge I was there and they were clearly overwhelmed although they were not busy AT ALL except for the mess they had.made for themselves out of the few orders they had inside and to-go. They were telling people they lost their tickets and asking them what they had, one server/bartender (the only one that appeared concerned with the disgruntled crowd now growing) was wasting precious time going to each one of us with a bag of steak asking if we ordered it we all said no and some of the customers (not the crowd of servers and bartenders just standing there) were trying to help her locate the owner of it to speed things along. Customers in the meantime were coming up and saying they were missing things from their orders. Then finally, after I was told they were working on my order (I saw they never checked after I spoke up over everyone to tell them I was there), they finally told me they didn't have my customer's order! This meal was supposed to have been done 10 minutes ago. It was a plate of pasta and breadsticks. š¤¦
I complained to the manager who literally laughed in my face when I told her they were very disorganized. Then, instead of apologizing for these issues, she walks 5-10 feet from me and tells someone "This guy over here saying we're 'disorganized.'" Basically making fun of me. Then it turns out they had let the tablet that accepts orders from the company I deliver for die. She begrudgingly manually takes my order, and I thanked her when I FINALLY get the food and she grumbles sarcastically "Have a nice night SIR." Meanwhile the customer I'm delivering to is sitting there waiting in Dalton.
I have worked in food service for years, and everytime a customer complained we apologized profusely. We never laughed at them and looked over to the kitchen workers and made fun of the customer. We took it personally that we had failed and we tried to make it right.
Another reviewer on here had the same experience and says, "There seemed to be a bunch of workers just hanging out at the bar staring at us. Interesting visit!" Yea. No kidding. I guess it's the thing here. If this is how you're managing the place and who you have managing it with zero customer service skills, it's no wonder it's chaos everytime I pick up there. You'll be out of business in a year. That level of dysfunction is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family and I regrettably ate dinner there last night. Robert S. was our waiter. It was a Monday night, there were maybe 6 or 7 tables occupied. My family arrived first, I arrived about 15 minutes later, after work. They had drinks, then Robert took my drink order. My husband had already drank his tea when my drink arrived so he needed a refill. Robert came back with a refill then took out his pad and asked if we were ready to order. We said yes, my husband said "May I have...." and Robert walked away. No explanation, he just left. We waited, and waited. He passed by our table twice not stopping, tending to other things. I finally got up and walked over to him near the bar running a customer's card. I said "Excuse me, you just kind of abandoned us. My husband was ordering and you walked away". Robert was immediately irritated, told me he was very busy with other customers as well, pointed out that we weren't the only customers in there, then said we had chugged our drinks and he needed to keep refilling them, and that I needed to have a little bit of patience. I guess my husband needing a refill counts as chugging? I'm so terribly sorry Robert felt put out that he had to get a customer a refill. And I had patience. I had patience when he randomly walked away while we tried to order, and I had patience while he walked around ignoring us for the next 15 minutes. I lost patience when it was then 8pm, my kids were yawning and hungry and had been there 45 minutes and still hadn't ordered yet. Robert took our order and proceeded to be cool and a bit rude the rest of the meal. We hurried to finish and leave. The kids asked why he was being kind of mean and asked why he said they were chugging their drinks, because they weren't. They were nervous to ask for a refill. If Robert is that bad on a Monday night, I can't even imagine what he's like on a weekend when it's actually busy. On a positive note, the food was excellent. And if you're lucky enough to get Brandy as a waitress you'll be guaranteed a good experience. She is wonderful all the time. We'll know for future reference to just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was seated and watched the waitress bill two other tables out before she came and took my order. I ordered my food and drink because I had time to decide what I wanted. My drink was delivered and I watched my waitress go out back to smoke. She came back about ten minutes later and brought my food. I had tater totās and there was a small cup of ketchup (like you would put salad dressing in) and I requested more ketchup (never delivered). I ate most of my tots and then started on my burger to see if more ketchup would show up. I cut my burger in half to make it easier to eat and noticed that the whole inside of the burger was pink and raw, kind of bloody. While I was eating my food, the waitress started cleaning out the area where her tables were. They were all empty except me. She asked if it was OK for her to sweep with the broom right beside me while I was eating. I was annoyed, but said OK. She then pulled the table completely out into the walkway, and started sweeping with the broom right at my table. I was in shock and almost told her that is not what I thought she had in mind or what I thought I was agreeing to. She then proceeded to do the carpet all around, pulling out tables so that her tables would be clean for the night. She billed me out at the table, then grabbed my plate and napkins and left me there with a third of my drink without even a napkin. There was complaining behind me at some point about people not tipping well. This place seems like they want to shut down an hour and a half before closing time. It looks dead like it to. People can tell. I could say more but at this point you either get it or you donāt. Maybe earlier visit in the day would help if they could get their food cooked. Not sure if I have eaten at Ruby Tuesday before, but I have a memory now that probably will keep me from coming back. Too many...
