I have attempted to purchase appliances from the store two times. The first one the delivery was a disaster and the installation man was going to leave the appliances because he got a phone call and we overheard him say let me get out of here and I’ll come meet you. He then told us he ran into a complication and couldn’t complete the install and was going to leave the appliance uninstalled. so we made them take the appliances back. We purchased at another location. The second time we bought a washer and dryer and they delivery time was 15 days. They sent us an email telling us to to prepare for delivery so we took off work and prepared for delivery. At 9pm the night before we received a text they were not coming. We called the store and they had made some type of mistake that had delayed the process. We just canceled the order and went and purchased from a local appliance company that delivered and installed the same day. Done with Home Depot Appliances. Unless you have plenty of time to take off work and deal with people that could care less about you or your time then shop at a place that has real customer service and not just a customer...
Read moreMy local hardware/home improvement store that still has employees in it that scatter when customer come down an aside . I basically have to figure it all out for myself ( thank goodness I use to work at one). It’s not hard to do. I go here when I can’t find what I am looking for else where. I did find the perfect item for an industrial island. I live in an old factory with concrete floors so this item is perfect. The Husky tool chest that they sell on wheels with a surge protector built in gave me extra counter space in my loft. I store all my knives, oven trays, kitchen towels, chopping boards, pots and pans in mine. When I move I can lock it up tight and wheel it onto the back of a moving truck without packing up a thing. The lined drawers are perfect for my kitchen accessories need. The come in great colors. Unless you want to spray one with Rustoleum to match your kitchen. It’s not just for tools...
Read moreHome Depot would be a lot better if # 1 go back to stocking the shelves after hours instead of when customers are trying to shop maneuver around ladders and stock left setting in aisles. Not mention the rude inconsiderate employees in the way putting up stock. 2 hire more people that actually have knowledge of the products in the section they are working in. Most of them can only tell you what is written on the box about anything in their section. Hell I can read what's written on the box what I need and want to know is what's not written on the box. The Home Depot I go to most of the time I've found 1 (ONE) person that is really helpful. Plus stop trying to force people to use self checkout by only half 1 cashier working. I don't work for Home Depot so I don't use self checkout now if you want to give me a employee discount I might reconsider using...
