This establishment does not even deserve 1 star! After two decades of loyal patronage, I was met with an appalling display of disrespect and blatant disregard for my religious dietary restrictions. I ordered a Big Steak Omelet with a side of hashbrowns with cheese, mushrooms, and onions, ensuring that no pork was included due to my religious beliefs. Upon returning home, I was horrified to find my omelet filled with ham, bacon, and sausage.
I immediately called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, who assured me that my order would be corrected and ready when I returned. She even said she’d talk to her staff to ensure the mistake wouldn’t happen again. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, I was met with open disdain. The servers were whispering, smirking, and outright mocking me. One server even came up to the counter to mimic my order in a mocking tone, while others giggled at my expense.
I was absolutely stunned by the disrespect. I asked them if they were making fun of me. Of course, they denied it, claiming she was just placing an order. Once home, I discovered that the hashbrowns were smothered in ham, bacon, and sausage— which I feel was a spiteful, deliberate act to mock my religious dietary restrictions. The Big Steak Omelet, which was supposed to be pork-free, was filled with hidden chunks of sausage, again making me feel like my religious beliefs were being mocked.
This was not just a mistake; it felt like a deliberate and malicious act to undermine my religious beliefs. When I called the manager again, she apologized but offered no refund or any real solution. Her previous promises to address the staff’s behavior seemed hollow, and I doubt any serious action will be taken.
The blatant disregard for my concerns, the mocking behavior, the lack of empathy, the complete mocking of my faith, and the sheer disrespect were appalling. No customer should have to deal with such malicious treatment, especially when it involves something as sensitive as religious dietary restrictions. I can’t help but worry about how this staff might treat other customers, particularly those with food allergies or senior citizens who might not be able to stand up for themselves.
I will never return to this IHOP, and I would strongly suggest others reconsider dining at this location. I feel like my faith and dignity were attacked, and the experience has left a lasting negative impression. It’s clear this establishment has no respect for its customers, and I refuse to support a business that treats people with such...
Read moreThis is the most unsatisfactory experience I’ve ever had here. We came in about thirty minutes ago our waitress was Tiffany she was nice but didn’t come check on us much she took our order brought food and disappeared for a little while finally caught her and got refills. The prices of this establishment are INSANE!! 10.00 for two French toasts? 3.00 for two small sausage links?? $4 for a small drink. I thought it was a meal but she charged me individually for everything. This place is a joke!! My husband got literally two pancakes and a small side of has browns and his alone was almost $20 that is outrageous. I get inflation everything is expensive but this is robbery at this point. AND the fire engine red haired waitress is the most disrespectful disgustingly behaved individual. We were seated next to the kitchen and she took a receipt from a previous customer whom was pregnant apparently and started talking so bad about her. “She came in here asking why her meal was so expensive when she paid online. I told her, her chicken and biscuits was 13.00 she left me a $0 tip that’s ok her baby is going to come out ugly as hell anyways.” Was the conversation then her and the ladies she was talking to turned around saw me looking at them and she popped her mouth closed and said “sorry” like ma’am don’t apologize to me why don’t you apologize to the one you insulted. She doesn’t deserve a single dollar she shouldn’t be in customer service. You don’t need a $10 tip to walk to the back of the store and get a bag and take it to the front? Tips are for when you work hard and EARN it it’s not a requirement or it would be included in the price of your food. I’m simply disgusted with my experience. She needs to be let go. We will NOT be returning. Also don’t you pay at the front of the store why did my waitress come take my bill? We have always paid at the front of the store my entire life? Something is not sitting well with me or anyone else in my party. $70 for 4 people is INSANITY. I am filing a formal complaint with...
Read moreI was truly shocked at our experience today. at first we walk up to see that every single window and door has handprints all over them assuming from the night. There were only two tables seated before and assumed that someone was getting on that soon but instead things seem to be crazy behind the scenes. I was excited to try the new gluten-free waffle and pancakes and ordered one of each. We waited awhile to get our food. Once we did receive our food I received a cold gluten free waffle and was told that they were out of the batter for the pancake so they were unable to make and that the rest of my combo would be out shortly which was scrambled eggs with ham. I had eaten half of my waffle and my husband had eaten his entire sampler combo with for my eggs and ham had ever arrived. My hand was good but seems like a smaller portion than I usually get. And the eggs were multiple different consistencies throughout my plate part of them were still running with liquid on my plate. I left the eggs and eat the ham and was ready to go. We sat there for well over an hour and the windows and doors were never touched. This is definitely not our usual experience at this location. the waitress tried her best to provide us everything that we needed and continue to apologize for the kitchen over and over again. I even heard her explaining to them I've already given her the waffle and is she is still waiting for the rest of her food...
