Sonia needs to be trained better. Came in around noon. There was a table with two next to us. It's our first time here. We aren't greeted just told us to sit down at the table. She brought us chips and salsa. Salsa was filled halfway! I asked for a refill as there was plenty of chips on em again filled halfway! Food was good drinks was ok (not the best minchelada or Chavela in town). She did come around once to ask if we were good. I asked for salsa for food once again it was filled halfway! At the end I paid for the bill. When I came home I seen a charge for $5 for 2 extra salsa. $5 is not much but if there doing this to every customer then that's a rip off! Not only that, there not filling the small 2 ounce black containers. Shame that people try to support small local business and owners take advantage to charge for everything. At least put a sign or alert the customer. First impressions means a lot. Will not...
Read moreOne star for several reasons: Very expensive, especially for the quality of food. Terrible service. The waitress didn't have the best attitude, and she made eye contact with us several times and ignored us. It took forever to get what we asked for (such as an extra plate and the check). They also didn't even try to correct their mistake (see below). The carnitas smelled and tasted like shrimp. When we asked whether the carnitas were cooked with shrimp, the waitress said she would ask and never came back, opting to instead avoid our table and stare at us from wherever she was. We had to ask again when paying to get our answer (they cook the carnitas on the same grill as the shrimp). It's not just the shrimp flavor that was a problem; this could be really dangerous for people with a shrimp allergy!!
Definitely do not recommend this place, there are so many other Mexican restaurants nearby...
Read moreI give this place negative 5 stars. The waitress was rude, very unprofessional. She went back and forth verifying the order and eventually got it wrong. The food took forever to be served and the food was served before the drinks. The micheladas were delicious with the original owners a few years back but the new ownership needs to reconsider if they want to stay in business. Oh and the music was way too loud. We went in a Sunday and they had a DJ playing music very loud, for once the place is small and loud music makes the eating experience unpleasant when you can't even hear the person you're eating with. It was definitely a waste of money because the food was sub standard, my granddaughter could have cooked better and she's 12, seriously. Do not recommend...
