Peet's Coffee & Tea — Restaurant in California

I don't know why I was expecting more. Was excited about trying Peet's Coffee. I ordered a white chocolate mocha. It did its job as a coffee should but I didn't find it special anyway. Ordering it was awkward. I was working out of town and it was very early. Hadn't have my morning coffee yet and the barista told me I was confusing her. I thought that was strange but realized I asked for a white chocolate cappuccino and had to correct myself it was a latte. Lol. Anyway it was awkward from there and she wouldn't let it go. Once I had to apologize to and tell her that sorry but I normally drink my coffee at home I'm just out of town working and haven't had a coffee yet today then I realized I wish I was at home drinking coffee and not going through all this for an overpriced overrated coffee. Similar experience with Peet's coffee yesterday at boomtown casino in Nevada. That one I did order correctly but it was awkward I tried to make small talk with the barista as did the customer waiting in line in front of me but she seemed less interested in that than in conversation that she was trying to continue with her co-worker who was standing next to her and again I wouldn't go there again unless it was the only place and I needed a coffee. I ordered a muffin that day with my coffee and when I pulled it out of the bag it just crumbled into a bunch of pieces I had to get a spoon from a gas station. I wouldn't recommend Peet's coffee. Disappointed but there's too many good coffee shops out there and there's always making coffee at home. Hospitality friendliness and comfortability go a long way when enjoying a cup of coffee.
