None of their employees are wearing face masks during this pandemic... and dealing with food. When I kindly asked the girl working at the front (maybe Candice) why they weren't enforcing it, she had a bit of an attitude and said it was their choice. I called back two days later to kindly ask for manager information to encourage the enforcement of face masks and the young man Channing working told me the manager wasn't there (after waiting on hold via phone.) When I asked if he could tell me how to get ahold of management he said he had "to go" because there were customers waiting that he needed to help (after I had waited on hold on the phone myself.) I reminded Channing I, too, am a customer. The food is delicious there and usually everybody is very nice, including the cooks, and I am sure the two employees meant no harm. Read moreMy girlfriend went here to pick up our order. Chips and salsa are not complimentary? That's fine. The part that will never make me come back is the lady with glasses working front 11/07/21. My girlfriend and I have worked food service jobs so we definitely understand how important tips are. My girlfriend has a few ones in her wallet and throws it in the tip jar. We usually tip a lot more than 2 dollars of course, but we need some change. she'll use cash to pay for the food, and use the change to add on to the tip. Not for this lady. I thought you only hear this stuff in sitcoms. "Do you have any other s m a l l bills you'd like to get rid of??" Gesturing at her tip jar. I'm sorry??!? Extremely rude. You get tips from exceptional service. Not because you took our order right. None of my friends and family are going to...
Read moreThis place has been my absolute favorite for over 40 yrs. I was introduced back in the day when the original location off Saviers Rd in Oxnard. It was known as "Johnny's" back then. Teri has been so warm and friendly. She recommended the Chile Relleno Burrito to me. Their salsa helped train my tongue and began my love for spicey food. I was addicted the 1st time I tasted it-tears streaming down my face, my mouth and lips burned for an hour and I STILL couldnt get enough! Sadly, I moved out of state in '95 and have only been back to visit a handful of times...I crave it everyday and would kill for a jar of their salsa! Another Beef chile Relleno burrito and I could die a happy woman! Nothing compares! Not too many decent Mexican restaurants in my current state but NONE come close to Bobbi's. I'll get back there someday...I...
