I have been a customer for years but i have to agree with another reviewer who spoke of their poor service. I have often felt rushed every time i have gone there, the minute you enter the door, they rush you, and it was the same few days back too. They have increased the price of brioche bread twice within the last few months. The smaller size brioche was $6 few months ago, the loaf I bought yesterday cost me $8. The cashier who when I asked about the price hike, rudely says," I dont make price decisions here, do u still want the bread?" so rude for such a pricey bread they sell. Not going there again...I hope they realize Tjoes is right around the corner and the stuff they sell isn't bad either. I get that small businesses have suffered this past year, but I don't feel this is true for iggys. If they are running operations as a local bakery, so should they price their products accordingly. In short, they are WAY...
Read moreThis is some of the best bread ever! We have been eating Iggy’sbread bread for years, usually buying it at the local market. We were so delighted to discover that during the pandemic they were doing home delivery.
Ordering couldn’t be simpler and the bread arrives fresh at our doorstep early in the morning. While we are going into the market much more frequently now than we did during the pandemic, we are still enjoying delivery of Iggys bread every week or two. Their bagels are the best we’ve ever eaten, and all their breads are delicious. As an occasional treat we sometimes treat ourselves to their crescent nut cookies which are out of this world! While a bit on the pricey side, even a third or a half of a cookie is an extraordinary treat to have with a cup of tea or coffee. We will continue to be loyal Iggy’s customers and encourage others to try this wonderful bakery if you are not already...
Read moreDespite its unassuming exterior -- you will feel like you're driving to a random warehouse in the middle of nowhere -- the inside of Iggy's Bread is super cute and quaint, with giant baskets of samples along the bar in the back and tantalizing displays of cookies, pizzas, bread puddings, pastries such as croissants, plus baskets upon baskets of loaves behind the counter. The pecan crescent cookie was excellent, and the bread pudding was decent as well. One thing I really appreciate is they sell mini loaves! Since it's just me and my partner at home, getting a giant loaf and destroying it over the course of the week is...just a lot. Even though, like Oprah, I LOVE BREAD.
The only thing that would make this place better is seating or even counter space to enjoy your coffee and pastry while standing and chatting. But it's a tight space, so...
