When I was eating here, a guy from B&B Towing Company (down the street) came and started asking what car everyone has. He's wearing the shirt from the towing company and there's a towing truck on the parking lot with that name. He says it's because he suspects not every car in the lot belongs to patrons.
Now, this was when I JUST got in. I remember seeing about 7-8 cars in the lot and about 7-8 families in the restaurant. Not sure why he thinks there's an illegally parked car. Nevertheless, he went around from customer to customer ASKING WHAT EVERYONE'S CAR WAS. I told him my car make, model, and color.
When I got out, HE WAS TOWING MY CAR. So I stopped him and asked why. He said "You weren't in burger king right?" Uhh helloo.... I was like the second person whose car you asked, plus at that time in the parking lot I was carrying a soda cup with Burger King's logo on it.
He claimed that he misheard what I said, and apologized, and just moved to the next car. Ok, mishearing is an innocent mistake, but before you actually tow someone's car, shouldn't you at least go back and check that NO ONE IN THE RESTAURANT REALLY HAS THAT CAR? How can you trust yourself to remember 7-8 cars from each patron and therefore pick one that hasn't been mentioned? Do you trust your memory that well? Considering the cost of making a mistake (a legitimate patron would be left without a car and no clue about what happened to the car), shouldn't you at least double-check these things?
Not to mention when I caught him red-handed, he was trying to pry my door open. I have no valuable in the car, so I didn't push that issue further, but that just seemed amiss.
I for one will not come back to this location. Food is fine, service is fine, but if some random guy from a towing company can't remember things correctly, your car might be gone.
Note: This happened on 6/28/2017 around 8:30 PM. Go ask the workers at that time, they'd be able to confirm my story because the guy also pestered the workers...
Read moreThis review is due to the Very poor customer service that I received during my first visit to Burger King in years, since I don’t eat meat. I decided to walk down to The nearest Burger King. Once I arrive I noticed the dining area was closed, so I walked around to the drive through where I was greeted by a short mid aged lady who’s exact words to me was “we can’t serve you if you don’t have a car, it’s our company policy”. At that point I decide to pull out my car keys and inform her that I have a car, I just decided to walk, I did not know that the dine-in would not be open. Her reply was still no. I then decide to walk back 10 minutes to get my car, during my walk I call the cooperate office and made a complaint. Once I made it back to the Burger King I placed an order for 1 impossible burgers and 1 impossible Burger meal. I was told to pull to the side because the order was taking longer the normal to be prepared. So I did as they asked. The time was approximately 10:40pm and the lights in the Burger King were being turned off. I thought this to be strange. After a short while the lady brought out a impossible Burger meal drop it on my lap and said have a good night. I then reminded her that I had 2 impossible Burgers. I also realized that I never received my receipt, so I took the opportunity to remind her to bring my receipt back with my other impossible Burger. She returned after a few minutes with the Burger and I had to remind her again for the receipt that she forgot to bring out. After a few additional minutes I was finally able to eat my cold impossible Burger. Horrible...
