I will never go into this restaurant again because of the rude and condescending treatment by the shift manager. I visit Cannon Beach several times a year. I have always had a wonderful time here. The way that I was treated by the restaurant manager has changed that. To make a long story short: ordered a crab and cheese omelet; the waiter brought me a bacon and tomato omelet...I told them that it was the wrong order. They took it back and brought the right order, but it was not cooked (runny and loose). I asked for it to be cooked; they brought it back still uncooked. I asked to speak with the manager; she said she was busy and would speak to me when she could...so far, so good. When she did come to the table, she had an attitude, basically saying "what's your problem"? When I explained the problem, she did not offer to fix it by remaking it....she was extremely rude and dismissive she said "your waitress offered to take care of it" the waitress did not offer this. The manager just walked away sayng okay. When I got the bill I was still charged for the omelet. When I went to complain to her, she flipped me off, said she was busy. She said I took it off your bill, then waved me off with her hand and said we already took care of you. I'm busy" s I then informed her she has no right to talk down to people like this. I worked in this industry for almost 30 years. People will forgive bad food; they won't forgive rude service. I talked with the owner. He was polite and nice, but also had the attitude that "mistakes happen" Dear owner: Mistakes don't include treating your customers like dirt. Read the other reviews...I am one of numerous people who have been treated rudely by your team. If you choose to not address this with your team, you will continue to get reviews like this. Will never recommend this restaurant to...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. When I walked in with my wife we weren't greeted. I had to find someone to ask them to put our name down to wait to be seated. I looked past that. We were then seated in the very back. Some random person walks up, just says, "Coffee?" My wife said no, I say yes. She just walks away. Brings back coffee and water. Takes our order. I think she will be our waitress. Someone else brings us our food and says "If you need anything, I don't think I will see you because they moved me to the front but that waitress he points to some random girl can help you." Basically "you're on your own, good luck." Saw a couple leave because they couldn't get anyone to help them/take their order. When our food was dropped off we were given our check. We didn't get a water refill, nor a coffee refill. There was a bus boy cleaning all of the tables around us but never asked if we needed anything. A waiter/waitress never came back to get our payment. So we had to walk to the front to pay. As we are waiting for someone up front, a "Everyone Loves Pig 'N Pancake" magnet was shoved in front of my face, one that I had left on the table. (I was going to purchase it because I love pigs but decided I didn't want to remember this experience.) It was put in front of my face by the bus boy that didn't want to help us earlier. After I said, "Oh, I don't want that." He says, "After all that work?! Me walking all the way up here?!" And walked away. The people that work here suck, the food isn't anything to be proud of. I would avoid this at all costs if you're in Cannon Beach. Highly disappointed and...
Read moreThe experience here from a tourist's point of view, was a mediocre one at best. Looking at Google maps when I found this place also showed that it's a mini chain of diners along the coastal towns of Oregon at least. I ordered a taco omelette and it was adequate, the hash browns were unmemorable and the taco seasoning never really came out in the omelette. You do get salsa, sour cream and guac with your omelette which is nice. Unlike every other diner I have eaten at for breakfast my entire life you don't get a choice of toast here. Hope you like white bread toast. My S.O. ordered biscuits and gravy. The gravy was an insult to sausage gravy and the biscuits were like paste. The waffle though. The waffle was good. We had it with the blueberry compote it was light and airy like a cake would be. More of a dessert and not a breakfast item. We also must have been our waitresses first customers of the day because she forgot my S.O.'s drink order and my sister's added cheese to her eggs, and we were handed the bill as soon as we were handed our food. This place can be passed by. Especially in Cannon Beach where you can get a better breakfast made for you and...
