Saroki's Crispy Chicken & Pizza — Restaurant in Canton Township

I love Saroki’s and eat there often. My husband eat at Saroki’s for lunch a few days a week, I’ve door dashed it at work often and etc. We spend a lot of money here all together.

Today I called Saroki’s to order food for my family. They close at 10pm and I called at 9:15 to order. The first time I called, someone picked up and hung up. I called back and they left me on hold for forever. While I’m on the phone trying to place the order I was driving from my home in Livonia to Canton. I spent the entire drive on hold and arrived at 9:35. Upon pulling in the parking lot, I can see the girl at the counter standing there doing absolutely nothing while I’m on hold. When I walked in, she picks up the phone and asked how can I help you. I let her know while I was there that I was also on hold and then I hung up the phone.

I asked to order an 8 piece fresh, but she tells me that it is now 9:40. I said I’ve been on hold since about 9:20. There was another lady who came from the back and asked how can she help me, so I told her what I needed. She asked the guy in the back if he turned the grease off and he says yes. The fact that they all stood there and lied in my face like I was stupid really pissed me off. It was two guys waiting on food, one had pizza and one had chicken tenders. The guy with the tenders order was still being made!! Like I could hear the chicken frying. 🙄 they literally told us no but you could clearly see that they just didn’t want to do it and they had the nerve to LIE!!! On top of that, the owner/employees of the gas station are racist as hell. My husband and I came to get Saroki’s last week before heading out for a road trip and I also needed a car charger. My husband picked up a charger but ordered our food before paying for it. They literally followed my husband and I around the gas station as if we were going to steal it.

The only Location that I have never had a problem with is the Farmington Hills location. They have the best customer service and have made my food fresh at 9:50pm. I will not be going back to this location or the Wixom location at all due to...

Stopped in July 27th on the fly. Bought some chicken for my son. Talked to the guy at the counter about the power being out, etc and that in our boredom we were driving around and decided to try them out. The guy behind the counter asked who else was eating and I told him that I was penny pinching at the time so my wife and I were going to wing it and not have anything. This man, who obviously knows the definition of empathy, gave me the rest of the potato wedges he had under the lamp (at least a pound). Mind you, they were perfect for selling but he was generous enough to offer them up to me free of charge. This is kindness, people! He could have made a buck but he chose to help out someone at a time when we were all going through this outage. Let me tell you, my boy LOVED the chicken, those wedges were THE BOMB! Biscuit had a little bit of honey baked on the top, just awesome! I will be going back, with cash in hand, and supporting this business. The food is great but the generosity is what sold me. update August 21st 2025 3:30pm I didn't even go anywhere near their counter I went to the cold food section in the gas station and I was accosted by one of the people from behind the counter. They raised a huge fit about the negative Google overview and about the statements made about the employee. He started threatening me he told me I'm not welcome back here or in the gas station he refused to give me his name but he presented himself as the owner. He made the entire environment feel unsafe for everyone. Again this is without any prompt on my end all because of something that happened on the 9th I know the owner responded to this review hello but has not given me any contact information where we can resolve this issue
