I have enjoyed the Fort Myers location and was excited to see them open in Cape Coral. Unfortunately they do not have an easily accessible menu online and there was some difficulty getting the correct order in. I asked for the Pho with the thin sliced rare beef and I was told that was a #41. I came to pick up my order, checked the menu and asked if I had received the Pho Tai and they said that they had made the Pho Tai. They also mentioned they were taking 20% off for their grand opening pricing. The people at the register seemed confused and had trouble getting my total for 2 Grilled Pork Bahn Mi and one small Pho Tai. They argued amongst themselves for a few minutes and handed me a receipt for full price plus 20% listed as a tip as opposed to giving me the discount. Given the difficulty ordering and ringing me up allready, I decided to cut my loses since I would have left them a tip anyway. I got home to discover my order was wrong and I got the #40 Pho Dac Biet beef special with the meatball and fatty brisket instead of the #41 Pho Tai. My Bahn Mi were also light on pork and did not cover the bread. The Pho was ok but the meatball was very chewy, I had never had the meatball before so I am not sure if they are supposed to be extra firm. The Bahn Mi grilled pork and mayo also had a different flavor than the Fort Myers restaurant. It was very disappointing given my previous experience at the...
Read moreI’ll start by saying I had high hopes walking in—I’ve been to some incredible Vietnamese spots, so my expectations were naturally up there. Unfortunately, this place fell way below the mark.
The experience got off to a rough start. Instead of being greeted or offered a seat, the guy behind the counter hit me with a blunt “What you want?” I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt—maybe he saw me snapping a pic of their hiring sign and thought I was up to something? A moment later, he did say nicely, “Sit wherever you’d like,” so I brushed it off.
There was no kids’ menu, which meant ordering a full chicken fried rice just for my kid. Sadly, nothing we ordered was remotely enjoyable. The chicken vermicelli, fried rice, spring roll—all of it tasted off. The boba was passable, but nothing to write home about. My kid wasn’t impressed either.
The final straw? I actually saw the waiter picking his nose. At that point, I just paid and got out of there.
I didn’t expect to pay $68 for a subpar meal for two people—especially one that we didn’t even enjoy. Between the bad service, high prices, and questionable hygiene, I’d suggest staying far away...
Read moreI am so happy I found this place. My atmosphere stars are three because I didn’t go there. I had my food delivered.
I am so happy I am over the moon. I was not expecting lemon juice to be as good as it was, in the pho.
Since I’ve started trying pho, over the course of the past year, and eating it at various places across Lee County, this place is a winner.
My only negative, is the shrimp in the spring rolls or summer rolls as some people call them , were like fishy flavor (my cat wouldn’t eat them), so I took them out, but their flavor with in the rest of the whole rice paper delicacy, was delicious. So, it’s like the shrimp themselves were just too much.
But I wonder if dining Inn, you get a fresh-er experience .
Beyond that, I was so happy and I usually only eat shrimp pho. Today, I felt like I needed some red meat in my life, and I was not expecting the little bloody bag of meat, but I’m so happy about it and that is fire meat. So tender! Cooks so perfectly in the broth. 🤤 I will definitely be ordering here from this point forward, and I will definitely be sending people to this place if they’re gonna try pho for the first time for...
