We used to come here often but we were hesitant to come back after last time and not sure we will be back after this time .. it wasn’t too bad but the Tacos are just inconsistent in price and quality.( and I know For that money I should’ve made it myself) we’ve had the street tacos made differently multiple times but we order the same thing every time and this time it came with lemon and grilled onion left us unsatisfied when we stopped in after I got off work. I paid for extra limes and received lemons . We didn’t know soft tacos had sour cream and they came with lots of it. I cannot have dairy but they would not replace the food and took our number because there is no manager and when they called back they said they will only replace the limes those make the meal for me and I was already home… I can go buy limes if I need them, They were already a dollar extra . Handling this issue they did not have great customer service . Last time when I was ordering over the phone I wanted to get four street tacos and they charged me for twice the amount . I said I wanted three street tacos then , I asked them to make it four actually and when I got to the store they charged me for seven tacos thinking I wanted to get four more tacos and not just add a taco to my order of three. Which was almost $30 for 7 tacos. complications every time discourage me...
Read moreFantastic! We have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant since we moved here 3 years ago! Let me preface this review by stating we are from San Diego which offers a ton of authentic Mexican food. This place met our expectations and more! We have tried many places here in the Cape and found high prices, not authentic, and small portions. Tacos Mexican served authentic carne street tacos and a delicious dinner combo of carne asada! We were blown away considering our past three years of searching! Huge portions and perfectly prepared/ tasteful Mexican cuisine.
The street tacos were perfect- steak, onions, and cilantro so tasty and the tacos were perfectly browned not soggy!
Chicken nachos- great portion, very savory
Carne Combo- Huge pieces of steak, onions, and beans plus corn tortillas!
The sides of cheese, mango salsa, and regular salsa were absolutely delish and large as well.
Our new go to restaurant! TY for making our...
Read moreHalf the comments I’ve read so far are people who lack common sense and/or people who wouldn’t know authentic food if it hit them in the face. This place is the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in SoFlo period. We had their tacos de birria with the consume- shredded beef and cheese tacos with the bone broth dip, Supreme Nachos with ground beef, two #1 combo plates- one being chorizo chimichanga with a steak sope- basically an open faced arepa, and a plate with a suieza enchilada- cheese covered enchilda, and a gordita- basically a Mexican Arepa. All of the food we got was amazing. We ended our meal with an order of churros. We also got two aquas frescas- fresh water drinks one being jamaica- hibiscus, and the other being horchata- sweetened Rice/milk/cinnamon and honey drink. I don’t have pictures of every dish, but the few I have do...
