We visited Yonut Donuts and Ice Cream in Cape Coral looking forward to trying your signature doughnut shakes and doughnut ice cream sandwiches. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.

We were told it would be a 10–15 minute wait, which we were fine with, but ended up waiting nearly 50 minutes for milkshakes and almost 30 minutes for the doughnuts with ice cream. This alone was frustrating, but what made it worse was the lack of organization—nothing came out together, which defeated the purpose since we were taking everything to go.

Then, we learned after waiting all that time that you just ran out of doughnuts for shakes. So we paid full price for a “fancy doughnut shake” that was just a regular shake. No refund or meaningful apology was offered, only a buy-one-get-one coupon, which still required us to spend more money to get any resolution.

Given how much we spent and the poor handling of the situation, I believe at the very least a refund or a complimentary replacement should have been offered without requiring another purchase.

I hope management will take this feedback seriously to improve customer service and transparency about product availability going forward.

Honestly I have zero complaints. I was shopping today and noticed they were in the plaza that my typical Publix is in and I like trying new food places out so I gave it a go and I have to say as someone who rarely eats sweets, IT WAS GOOD!

The staff are really nice and super friendly. They make the atmosphere chill and fun. I got their blueberry donuts for my first donuts there and they were delicious. The lemon filling was a creative and unique surprise that honestly complimented the blueberry flavor of the icing perfectly.

Price for what you’re getting isn't too bad either. At least to me anyway. I tend to not spend a lot when I eat out because I’m not a fancy eater but this place lets you feel like you’re eating fancy donuts for a discount. I also like that it’s close by so whenever the rare moment comes when I want something sweet, I’ll come back here and try more of their menu
