Ralph's Place — Restaurant in Cape Coral

Today a friend & I stopped by to try Ralph’s for the 1st time and walked in and there was only 2 gentleman sitting at the bar while my friend & I sat at a table no one else in there besides us 4 people and the bartender a little blonde lady later 50’s-60’s and we ordered a drink and some food … she brought our drinks and food and then that was was last we seen of her she never came back to check on us nor ask us for drink refills nothing… in fact to busy chatting the men at the bar not sure if she thought because we are woman she wouldn’t be tipped - idk, but when we sat and sat and sat I walked to the bar to ask for our tab she then continued to sit and chat at the bar with the gentleman taking at least another 10-15 mins very frustrating-because I would have overly tipped her service because that is my style; I to work in the service industry…. I understand….but she wasn’t very attentive at all then when the bill came so did a “accommodation charge” added to the bill, what?! No way I tipped 18% due to not only being ignored but an added hidden charge tacked on … I will never return to this establishment nor refer a friend ever… after leaving here we moved on to Nevermind and which we had an Amazing experience there…so I made sure to write a little note to this lady at Ralphs to let her know how terrible we were treated Had she been just as accommodating as she was to the gentleman in the bar she would have seen a nice note and tip- Do Better lady You never know where your blessing...

This place is dirty and smells like smoke everywhere. The seats are falling apart, the tables wobble a lot, and the people working there are rude.

The guy who works there is very unaware of what beers are on tap. I asked for a beer they had written on the wall for drafts. He told they didn't have it. I literally asked for the next on down. He said they didn't carry that beer. Then he told me "We don't carry fancy beer. This bar only has regular beer. We write it on the wall. Those are the beers we have." He was unaware that everything I asked for was off the wall, right down the line. I told him "I am asking for beers off of your list" and he said we don't have those. I asked what do you have and I got the first beer that came out of his mouth because he was being so rude. This guy hands down is the biggest reason for the worst review possible.

The other things didn't bother me as much because it's a hole in the wall bar. It is what you expect for a bottom barrel bar. We left after we got 1 corona with lime. Couldn't waste anymore talking...

How about this place because I can have a really nice breakfast food if I want with one egg and maybe some pita bread or something like that and I can go there for dinner and have breakfast a burger a chicken set Caesar salad I can have a choice of anything you want as a wide variety of menu pancakes for dinner you can have salad for breakfast they have anything practically that you want and the prices are you know Sally medium astronomical but there 5 to $10 the same and dinner about the same a little bit higher maybe for dinner to $12 but you can get you can get a beautiful fish salmon dinner with potatoes and vegetables and bread for that $12 or you can have breakfast or I'd like to stay and Ice chicken caesar or steak Caesar or Greek salad with a choice of chicken or or beef whatever so you that you're real choices and the people are very kind very friendly and you say the coffee is hot and it's just a really friendly Play Place I really highly recommended it...
