Love smoothie king as a brand, just moved back to the cape last summer from Sarasota to help support my parents. I used to stop in the drive thru at Cape Coral to order, but their employees aren’t the friendliest. This store was okay in terms of product quality, but now inconsistent. You can also check my reviews to see that don’t give out negative reviews often. I try to leave positive notes as I am also in the customer service industry. I’ve gotten food poisoning here, ordered a mocha coffee d-lite, it had banana in it. I legit had to go to the ER for an EpiPen as I had an allergic reaction. Working in the industry, I don’t really complain about these kinds of things. I stopped going for a while to this location. The one in fort Myers is always on point when I come in to get large orders done for the whole team at my job. All with patience, excellent customer service, and properly made drinks. I generally avoid talking to the employees here when I would order, getting mobile order delivered to my house or ordering before picking up for exactly this reason. When I walked in today to let the team know something was wrong with their milk, they assumed I wanted a refund for my half-drank drink. Before I could even finish what I was saying, the employee at the front counter said, “well it looks like most of your drink is gone!” I was trying to tell her my drink tasted off/sour — and I couldn’t even comment on the one I wanted to return. I didn’t even get to tell them their milk tasted weird to avoid anyone else getting sick! The whole point of coming in to talk to someone. I could’ve called corporate for a refund. It’s just sad. Ive never been so rudely interrupted and said this is literally why I don’t enjoy this location. I asked for the supervisor, who was standing next to her, laughed in my face. They did end up refunding me for the one smoothie, but it was a terrible enough interaction to make me write this all out. Y’all need some serious...
Read moreThe Peanut Power Plus is the only reason to come here — and thankfully, it’s consistently good. However, the service has been consistently poor for about a year. As a business owner, I understand how important Google reviews are, which is why I’ve given this location several chances to get it right before posting. Unfortunately, the lack of investment in quality employees is obvious and ongoing.
The checkout lines are a major reason I rarely visit. I never know if it’s going to take five minutes or fifteen minutes — and yes, fifteen minutes for smoothies is a long time. No, I’m not exaggerating.
Today was another frustrating experience: the cashier shortchanged me because they didn’t have enough coins in the register. If a drawer is short on change, any rounding should favor the customer, not the store. Rounding down is unacceptable.
Additionally, they refuse to accept $50s and $100s, but there’s no signage informing customers beforehand, no biggy. Buy the sticker and post it
Lastly the acai bowls are often melted upon delivery and please wipe down the sides of cups before handing them to customers. No I’m not OCD, there’s smoothie on it. Quality control is clearly lacking.
If you look at my review history, this may be the first time I’ve ever left a one-star review.— it sucks and I hate to give it. But at this point, it’s clear management isn’t...
Read moreI am absolutely sick of coming to this place and having no help at all having the store completely closed during what should be normal business hours. There's a gym right next door which would make this location really convenient however they are hardly ever responsive it takes a long time to get orders and since the hurricane they have completely lost their outdoor signage and the Outsource side intercom for the drive-thru is completely broken it's been almost a month since that storm has come through and I have seen nothing done to try to fix or solve any of the issues and today it was just the last straw I could have really used a smoothie after a 3-hour training session at the gym to sit in the drive-thru looking around like an idiot trying to peer into the windows to see if anyone's actually in the store driving by in the morning it looks like nobody's in there I think the owner should just do with the community a favor and close this whole thing down and let a reputable business come back in that can actually serve the community and not just have a place taking up space it's such a laughable place to go and I feel bad for anyone who has The Misfortune to sit there for a few minutes looking like an idiot trying to order something that's obviously not going to come what a...
