This was a recommendation from a lady the wife works with. We were concerned upon seeing all the low review scores. But taking her at her word, we gave it a try. And were so glad we did.

The over all cleanliness is good in the dinning area, (not sure in kitchen) Customer service is a hit or miss. Food was good tasting, not sure over all!

First time, we all had various taco plate and each were delicious. The waitress was consistent and focused on providing a great experience. Mid afternoon so not real busy.

The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is this was the first visit. After they prove themselves on repeated visits I'll bump this up to a full 5 stars!

Now the true colors came out on the 2nd visit. Our waitress basically called me a liar. I ordered a grilled shrimp salad with portabella mushrooms on it. Wife ordered a "whatever". First off another couple came in a long time after us and their food arrived before ours. We asked for napkins, never got them. Wasnt given silverware until nearly 4 minutes after food arrived. I didn't get mushrooms as ordered and charged. The waitress went to ask and cooks said they did, but they look like onions when cooked, they said. As a seasoned cook I know the difference. And i hadnt eaten anything when i asked for yhe extra charge to be removed and she looked at it to see no mushrooms were on it. Didn't get dressing requested, after many minutes with salad in front of me, she came back to say she still had to make my dressing. I told her to just give me some salsa, I'd make due.

Now it was busy busy. I understand some aspects of this. But I refuse to spend money in a place that calls me a liar when it could be seen that there wasn't any mushrooms on the plate. It's 2 bucks. I took it off her tip. Now I know why they have the over all review they have.

Final statement on this. There's great potential. But there seems to be some major dysfunction in the operations. Both my wife and I became ill after this last meal. On way out of town I mentioned that I wasn't feeling good and actually sick to my stomach to which she admitted she had been too and was about to tell me to pull over so she could use the restroom.

As promised we gave it another visit and it failed horribly. A little poor service in this area of new mexico is unfortunately the norm, half assed plates and conditions typical but never should some one become sick due to the health...

Would give zero stars, if possible. Went in for dinner. Took forever to get drinks and order dinner. When dinner was finally served, my order was incorrect. I'm not even sure what it was, but it wasn't what I ordered. It wasn't that busy, but I did notice a couple other tables waiting for the waitress to refill drinks or bring the check, so I got up and searched the waitress out. She came back to the table, took my plate, apologized for the mix up, and disappeared. She did not return until she brought the check. Shocked, I asked her if she would be bringing my dinner out, as my husband and son had long finished their dinner and we were waiting for mine. She said the kitchen had since closed. This was at about 830pm. I asked if there was anything still available as I was hungry and we had been there over an hour waiting. She said no, but she did me a favor by removing my order from the check! I asked to talk to a manager at the register. A cocktail waitress told me she was the manager and she had been "plating food" all day long and didn't have time to deal with customer complaints. I told her that was no excuse for sending half of a dinner party away with no dinner. At that point she started yelling and called me "an excuse".
