Absolutely terrible experience. The positive reviews online are completely misleading.

We waited 30 minutes just to receive menus, and almost 2 hours for our food to arrive. When it finally did, one dish was still partially frozen and inedible, while several others were incorrect.

They also spilled multiple drinks on us and forgot some of our orders. Additionally, many of the dishes shown online weren’t even available to order.

The staff was visibly stressed, and a couple of them were rude and dismissive. They did apologize when we called them out on it, but it still doesn’t make it acceptable.

The only good part is that not all the food was terrible; the mofongo for example was decent, when it finally arrived almost 2 hours after we sat down.

This place ruined our evening and left a seriously bad impression on our vacation. Avoid it...

I highly recommend this place to anyone who is seeking authentic Puerto Rican food served timely, fresh, and with a smile. Carmel was my waitress and did a phenomenal job and making me feel welcome and suggesting food entries, especially after I drove from Mayaguez Puerto Rico back to San Juan, Puerto Rico on business through dense mountains and storms. After arriving and checking into the Rresidence Inn by Marriott (Yay) Papa recommended this quaint spot. I enjoyed the fresh veggies and baked Chicken. I had drink with Gin and water. For dessert I had a decadent chocolate cake a fresh cafe latte (delicious)! Carmel was engaging and pleasant the entire time - you will not be disappointed. I had a very disappointing experience here during my visit to Puerto Rico. I ordered burgers for my kids, and we waited over an hour for our food. Eventually, we found out they didn’t even have any buns—but instead of being upfront about it, the staff kept telling us the food was “coming soon.” Meanwhile, other guests who arrived after us were served without issue.

What made it worse was the lack of communication and honesty. When we tried to speak with the manager, we were brushed off with a simple “sorry,” with no real effort to make things right.
