Five Guys — Restaurant in Carrollton

The first time I went here, I had a good experience. Anna apologized for my wait, but I truly didn't feel like it was long at all. The next time I went, I had an online order, and they closed early. I was able to get my food just before they locked the doors. The burger was okay. The next time I went, I called at 6:38 pm and asked what time they closed, since I knew they are notorious for closing hours early. They said 8 pm, so I put an online order in at 7:34 pm (paid online as well), and I got there at 7:45 pm for their doors to be locked! There was a note on the door that said they closed at 8 pm that night, but the doors were locked before 7:45 pm.They wouldn't open the door or even come to the door to let me explain that I already had an order. I had to go back to my car, grab my phone, and display my order to them through the window just for them to acknowledge me. Finally, they came out and told me they had to close early due to limited staff, and they could not issue my refund that night. They told me I had to wait for the manager to do it and suggested I could come back the next day. This was just not a good experience since I made sure that they were not closing until 8 pm, paid already, and drove all the way to their store just for them to ignore me for a few minutes while I was waiting in the cold and not get issued a refund...

It wasn't the quality of food I received that I'm upset about. Yes, my order was wrong. I called and spoke with the manager and she stated "okay I will refund you." And apologized. Few days later I called back to just check on the refund. And the manager stated "I gave it to my main manager because she it was an online order the main manager will have to refund it" Okay...days go by still no refund. Now at 1 month, still no refund. My issue is : don't say something you don't actually do, because it looks bad on you. Plus, actually put someone on hold before your employees yell across the room to get the manager and say "its that lady from earlier." I ordered the kosher hotdog topped with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles onions and mustard. It's was very good. Five Guys has several to choose from on their menu. Toppings are free with your order. I also had fries and a Strawberry/Lemonade mix. They have the same soda machine as Wendy's restaurant. Love that feature because I was able to mix flavors instead of 5 to 6 choses that the typical fast food restaurant offer. The fries were hot and seasoned just right.
