Right from the start, it felt like we weren’t welcome there. What made it worse was that no one even checked on us during the meal. Nobody asked if the food was good or if we needed anything. It felt like they just took the order, brought the food, and at the end, brought the bill. Is that really what a restaurant is supposed to be?To top it all off, they added a 25% gratuity to the bill. I don’t mind paying gratuity when the service is good, but what exactly were we tipping for here? Poor service and a bad attitude? It felt like the gratuity was rewarding bad service, not hospitality.
When we asked about the alcohol menu, she replied with an attitude and said something like, “just check the menu,” instead of explaining anything or being helpful. It was clear she either didn’t know what good customer service is or didn’t care to provide it. Maybe they need to focus on training their staff better because no one wants to come back to a place where they feel disrespected and...
Read moreWe had an absolutely unacceptable experience at this restaurant, especially given that we were a large group. The server was not only incredibly rude but outright dismissive and confrontational. When we politely asked her to clear the tables so we could cut a cake for a birthday celebration, she snapped at us and told us to get off the table in a demeaning tone. When we asked if she could play a birthday song to make the moment special, she responded with a sharp and disrespectful attitude. It was blatantly obvious from her behavior and facial expressions that she was being discriminatory and racist.
This kind of treatment is shocking and completely inexcusable. If you want to be treated with respect, I strongly suggest you avoid this restaurant. But if you want to face discrimination and rude behavior from a server who seems to think it’s acceptable to treat guests this way, then by all means, go. This was one of the worst customer service experiences...
Read moreA free takoyaki isn’t giving them the best reviews. This is the first Korean restaurant where I’ve felt both unwelcomed and experienced such clear rudeness and even a sense of discrimination. Good food can’t fix bad service, and the attitude we faced made it clear we wouldn’t be coming back. The server was rude, had an attitude, and didn’t even smile once. She made us feel unwelcome right from the start, which was shocking and disappointing. What made it worse was when we asked about alcohol options because the menu wasn’t clear, and she just snapped back with “look at the menu,” instead of offering any helpful or polite assistance. It was like she had no idea what proper customer service should look like or she simply didn’t care. The only reason a customer would want to return is for good service and a welcoming vibe, and this place failed on both. Maybe they should think about improving their staff training, because we don’t come here to be treated...
