Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Carson City

Service was actually more like a 2.5, but they looked pretty short handed when we came in. There were about 3 people in the kitchen and one person trying to make orders while running the register initially with a long line, watched her make at least 5 customers orders and handle transactions with no change in gloves (gross). I was disappointed that they can no longer put beans on a quesadilla (simply stated "we can't do that", I had to look up the why later), but will put it as a side. Either way, I'm paying for it. Chips were undersalted and stale. Never asked if we were eating in or dining out, it was automatically assumed and bagged with a "have a nice day" and the cashier walking away. I noticed this was the case with other customers. We realized it was probably better as all the tables were dirty. The water pressure in the bathroom is also very high, my kid got soaked. The last few times I have ordered from this restaurant my order has always been missing something. Whether it is the extra chicken I paid for, half my toppings or just the quality of food. I do online orders so I would hope my food would be prepared properly but it seems that is not the case anymore. I have called management multiple times about how there is always something missing and I get the same line of “I will let my crew know to be more aware”, after the 4th time this has happened I am not going to be ordering chipotle unless going inside. For my order this time I ordered guacamole and lettuce on my bowl, I literally got 11 chunky pieces of lettuce on my bowl and a side of queso instead of calling me to tell me they were out of guacamole.

Do not order online, just go inside. If you do they will probably majorly skimp you and/or get your order wrong. That’s what happened to me today. It looked like they sprinkled a teaspoon of rice into my wife bowl and the bowl was half full at best. My burrito was half the normal size and was missing numerous ingredients. I went back and they rectified the situation.

The food is also served pretty cold. I live 5 minutes away and the food was ice cold by the time I sat down to eat. The chips I got were definitely not fresh and pretty stale.

I get it, you work a food service job, it sucks. But, it literally costs you nothing to not skimp your customers. Definitely questioning whether I’ll come back here. I should’ve went with my first instinct and got food...
