Juan's Mexican Grill & Cantina — Restaurant in Carson City

0 stars!!! First time I've experienced such rude customer service from all the staff at a restaurant! Very disappointed that my friend and I experienced this. To begin with, when we arrived there were only 2 other customers so they were not busy. We came early before the lunch rush. My friend and I were asked by the waitress if we needed anything before our food came and I asked for ice water and she gave me a cup of ice LOL. So my friend told me I could have her water since the waitress never came back with water. Then we waited about 45-1hr to have our food served to us. My friend ordered shrimp ranchero and i order steak fajita burrito. After taking a bite, we both agreed it was all way too salty. After trying to consume more of it, I decided to ask the waitress if we could have them re-made because my beans were salty, my steak pieces were burnt, and the veggies were salty. My friend said her plate was salty too. Waitress said i dont know i will need to ask my manager she then proceeds to take our platters back to the kitchen to tell her manager. The manager/cook comes out and aggressively starts speaking to us in an ill-manner and says what was wrong with your beans? I said they were salty and so was the burrito. He says he tried the beans and they were fine. So i want to make sure i make it the way you want it. Please note this was not with a polite tone. Otherwise i would be less upset. He did the same to my friend. He said okay im going to remake both. My friend and I walked over to use the restroom and within 1 min the bartender proceeds to casually walk in and wash her hands and ask my friend "did you girls forget something?" How absurd and offensive! She assumed we were pulling a dine and dash?! Very disrespectful and rude! My friend told her we were just using the restroom. No one apologized for any of this. I will never recommend this establishment to anyone! Please think of what customer service means as a representation...

Visited Juan's mexican grille, on North Carson, 6/14/2025, around, 2 pm. It was always our favorite restaurant to go to at least three times a month. We Ordered our food.We always get the same thing . My husband gets chimichangas and I get an Al a cart burrito., With sour cream on the side. The waitress said she has to charge me for the sour cream, Which is fine, but After all the years we've been going there, We were never charged for it before. No big deal , she said she was new And that they should be charging us. After our meal she gave us our check.And I was charged for 2 sides of sour cream. I don't even care about the price, But when she disappeared, I approached the bartender.And asked if they charged for sour cream and she said yes , unless it's a chimichanga meal which my husband had. And I told her that I was charged for 2 sides for my order. The bartender had an attitude about it and said she would fix it.And the server who was a young blonde girl, said she gave me 2.And I said you can check My plate, it has one empty container on it. She came to our table, with the corrected check, And I asked her why she said she gave me 2 when she didn't and she proceeded to say, I just want you to pay and get out of here. On the way out, some people that were obviously friends of hers, sitting at the bar, Tried to start a fight with me and my husband. The bartender did nothing about it to stop it. The people that tried to start a fight with us, didn't even hear what she rudely said to us, at our table. We've been dining at several locations, for over sixteen years, Since he ran the kitchen At MO & Sluggos, to Comstock casino, and Juans on north carson street. We will NEVER go back there, and hope Juan addresses the current rude staff that he has. It's unfortunate because we have sent so many people, over the years, from out of town and new people that have...

Got there, before the crowd. Had to wait 15+ minutes - because they didn't have a table (for 2), even though I saw numerous tables, empty. But my sister, who lives here, said te were great. Finally got up to inquire about how much longer the wait was going to be and they seated us @ one of tables that ws empty before. 🤔 Gave our drink order, waitress comes back a short while later to say that she won't be able to place our food order for approximately 30 minutes because they have a party of 19 in other room. 🤔🙄😒 I can't believe that !! I have worked in restaurants- maybe a while ago, but I have Never heard anyone tell me that!!! Offers (& brings) cup of soup and states they would do the sampler platter we wanted. Would be 20 or so minutes. Sister said that it didn't quite look like the one she had before - but.... we ate some, brought restaurants back to the house. Finally asked for napkins, but didn't get any silverware, one of the servers said - "you should have asked for some" - Really??? LOL. Moral: Don't bother if they're busy, only go if there's not many...
