Johnny's New York Style Pizza — Restaurant in Cartersville

We had a table of 8 people, 7 were ordering food from Johnnys. The 8th had food intolerances that makes Johnnys menu difficult for her. She got a personal pizza from Mellow to accommodate my wife and I as we’re moving states and will no longer have Johnnys around us. Now we were unaware of the policy that we couldn’t bring in that personal pizza but even so, didn’t think it would be a big deal as our table was ordering over $100 of food anyway. Our server Kaylee or however it’s spelled made sure to rudely point out several times that food wasn’t allowed from somewhere else (no signs posted about it or anywhere showing this policy). We had no issue with the policy. We had an issue with the servers attitude towards our friend. A simple “hey, for next time, this our policy, etc.” Instead she repeated several times with a tone about how ridiculous it was that we would even consider doing what we did. We asked if they wanted us to leave, we were told no. Probably because we were spending over $100 before a tip. Kaylee was not our server for the rest of the night (not because we asked) but Kayla finished out our evening and was great. I asked about the policy before we left and apologized. We didn’t know about it and didn’t think it was a big deal regardless as again $100+ being spent anyway. Kaylee was just awful and made the final Johnnys experience for us miserable as well. Wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone now. Go anywhere else or even another pizza place. Kindness goes a long way and at no point were we rude. If I had to use one word to describe my experience it would be disgust, but I really need to go into detail so that word can be justified! To start with I know it was a busy Saturday as I tried to place my pick up order I had to call over 10 times before I got someone to answer I was then placed on hold and someone else picked up, they took my order but seemed to be having trouble they said they would get a total but I never received a total I was told it’d be a 40 min wait and then they hung up on me before I could give them my name or number for the order! I tried calling about 8 more times to let them know my name for the pick up but never got an answer, my husband picked up the order after almost 55 min and order still wasn’t ready and he explained he didn’t know what the order would be under because I was hung up on, and didn’t complain Spoke to a manager and thought all would be good WRONG! when we opened the pizza at home it was so cold we had to heat it up to eat it and it tasted awful we’ve eaten here before things tasted good but tonight not AT ALL! So by this point we were starving so we just ate it as I ate the cheese bread it had an awful taste and I quit eating it but at the same time my toddler took a bite and brought over a long piece of string from a dish rag that he pulled out of his mouth that was in his cheese bread I immediately threw away our plates!! I’m am livid right now this is absolutely disgusting that something like that gets served out of a kitchen!! The cheese bread actually tasted like a wet rag!! If you expect to get good service when you go to a restaurant, then this isn't the one for you. After going into great detail about what kind of pizza we wanted, the server came out with a pizza that was not anything close to what we had ordered. Originally we had ordered half ham and green olive pizza, and half beef and black olive pizza. They got half of the pizza right which was the beef and black olive, but instead of ham and green olive, the server had brought green pepper and green olive pizza to us. I don't know where she heard green pepper. I know people make mistakes, but if it wasn't every time that there was a mistake I wouldn't be posting this review. Once we had complained to the girl that brought out our pizza (who was supposedly new), she told us to eat the part of the pizza that was good and they would make us more of the ham and green olive. My mom told her that we weren't going to do that and just to remake the whole pizza. She also told the girl that brought the pizza out to us to begin with that she didn't want to see our server again for the rest of our time there, because our server had gotten an attitude with us before about fixing mistakes. The server that my mom had told we didn't won't to see for the rest of our time there came out and told us to leave the restaurant because my mother was being disrespectful, which she wasn't she just didn't like our server or the service we had received.
