I pulled up to the drive through on 9/8 at 7:45 am and waited an uncomfortable amount of time for someone to greet me. I looked at a non-breakfast menu screen, looked around at an empty parking lot (1 car in the back corner), looked at a packed restaurant on the other side of the lot, and just sat in silence wondering what am I missing? Did the franchise go out of business? Very odd? I pulled forward without ordering and turned the corner to see another vehicle at the window. I explained to the employee at the window that I thought the intercom must be broken and he curtly told me that it wasn't broken and I had only waited 10 seconds. I said that my wait was much longer and he interrupted me and continued to state that I was wrong in my perception and just hyperly talked over me. I just wanted to spend money on a breakfast and go to work. I drove out of the drive through, parked, and went inside to speak with management. I waited at the inside counter and wasn't greeted by anyone for 90 seconds (no customers in the restaurant) until the same employee saw me from around the corner and walked over. I stated sarcastically that I must have only waited 10 seconds again and could I speak with a manager. He stated that he was the manager and what did I need. I asked for his name (Juan) and a corporate number. He condescendingly stated his name and used his 5th grade management skills explaining that they were owned by a franchisee and there was no number to give. I made a comment about an empty parking lot and an empty restaurant might have something to do with how he addresses his customers. I'm sure there are cameras in the drive through, ownership should look for my red Range Rover and see for themselves. I simply wanted to spend money at their...
Read more4/25/23 2:45 pm. Very literally, the worst customer service experience I've had in Castle Rock in nearly 20 years!
My son and I walked into the dining room and, with the exception of one other table of two, were the only ones in the restaurant. We waited at the register somewhere between 5-7 minutes for an employee to come over (at this point, we were primarily waiting out of sheer curiosity). During this time, we noted that there were two small orders pending on a monitor near the front, presumably from the drive-thru. When an employee did finally come to the counter and unapologetically said, "What can I get you?" I asked (based upon her uniform) if she is the manager. She indicated that she is, and so I asked in exasperation if she had any idea how long we had been waiting for help. She replied, "Well, I'm by myself here". Though she clearly was not alone, I responded, "A wave or ANY acknowledgment of their existence might be appreciated by future customers." She responded (paraphrasing, as I don't exactly remember), "I can't do that unless you're going to hire someone to help me, so are you ready to order now?" With no intention of EVER giving this franchise a single hard-earned penny, I said, "NO, never mind", to which she replied, "Okay, good, have a nice day."
As a side note, we then went out of our way to the Burger King across town (at 4408 Barranca Ln), where we were immediately greeted and helped by Steven, who by all appearances, was twice as busy, but was extremely friendly. In stark contrast to the manager of this place, he obviously appreciates his job AND the value of excellent...
Read moreGot into line at the drive-thru at 10:48pm, right behind my co-worker who I had followed from work. She entered the drive-thru first, placed her order and proceeded to the window to pay and collect her food, I pull up to the speaker and was told 'one moment'. After 15 minutes of honking and screaming at the speaker to place my order. I pull up to the window to see my co-worker still sitting waiting for the food she had paid for 15 minutes prior. I called her and she said they ran her card, but refused to give a receipt, and still no food. She pulls forward so I can pass and go into the building to see what was going on, but the doors were being locked as i walked up. I then pulled back up to the speaker and a message said that the restaurant was now closed and to come back later. Co-worker still at the window waiting for her food, at this point it was 11:20. Half an hour of waiting for her food and me to place my order. I tried to call but no one answered. There was now a guy behind me who got out of his car and approached the window to figure out what was going on, and to get his order fixed(He only received half of his food which he paid for). By the time my co-worker had given up it was 11:45. Will be going back in the morning to talk to a manager. Please DO NOT go to this restaurant after 10 pm. They will steal your money and wont give you what...
