We really, really loved this place the first 3-5 times we came here. We wanted it to be our routine spot for weekend and date brunches but unfortunately, the last few months, the service hasn’t been good at all. We expect to pay around $100-150 when we eat out and order 2 drinks (family of 5) but cost for what you get just doesn’t feel worth it. We went today and had a 20 minute wait to be seated (which was awesome and unexpected) but then waited 20 minutes to even be greeted at our table. Once greeted after waiting, waitress asked if we were ready to order? We hadn’t even been able to order drinks yet and then drinks came around 10 minutes later. I normally don’t leave reviews but this is how the last 4 times we’ve been there have been. We were also charged $3.99 per tiny kids drink (3 of them) which never needed refilled. One time we waited 30 minutes just to pay out with plates stacked and all and clearly just sitting there waiting. Just the little things.. like never getting something you ask for 3 times (a single glass of water), our family of 5 sharing 1 napkin because our waitress never came back after taking our order LOL.. we do really like the guy who works the patio, though!! He deserves all the recognition. He is personable, kind, and always seems to be rocking it and in a great mood whenever he’s working! We don’t mind paying for good quality food and service whenever we can.. but just feels like cost has significantly gone up and service and quality has gone way down. Food seems to be hit or miss but that’s okay because we like trying new stuff and they do have some really awesome menu items. Their bloody Mary’s are the BEST and one of the main reasons we keep going back. I’m sure we will be back in the future but hoping things turn around and the experience (service and quality) gets better...
Read moreWe planned to meet family for breakfast this past Sunday and picked Pegasus based on a friend's recommendation. We called ahead and were placed on the reservation list as we were a party of 8 (they will reserve tables of 8 or more). We arrived at the time we reserved for, 9:00 am and were seated by 9:05 am after confirming our name on the list with the hostess. Our waiter was kind and responsive to our needs, but our food came out in waves making it difficult to eat as a family. In fact, one dish was completely forgotten about and arrived much after everyone else had started on their meals. We finished eating, paid the bill immediately upon being presented with the check and were allowing our children to use the restroom before leaving. However, no sooner did our credit card get run, the manager comes over and asks us if we would be leaving. It was incredibly rude and unnecessary as it was clear we were helping our kids and filling up our to-go box. Despite our shocked looks at the audacity of the manager asking us to leave after only 1 hour at the table (keep in mind it took nearly 30 mins just to get all our food), she continued in and told us how the particular table we were at was for reservations. She completely ignored the fact that we HAD a reservation. She was more worried about turning a table than providing a positive experience for customers. We didn't receive an apology and were made to feel like a major inconvenience. Such a...
Read moreOn Friday, December 20th, we decided to stop at the Pegasus Restaurant on our way to the outlets for a quick bite. We arrived in the late afternoon for brunch and were seated after a short wait—not a big deal considering the restaurant's popularity. The ambiance of the place immediately stood out, offering a cozy New Mexico vibe with a menu to match.
I ordered the Mexican plate, and my wife chose the Chiladas plate. Both dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, with the hallmark of their cuisine being the use of green chiles. Just about everything on the menu features green chiles or is smothered in them, which adds a signature touch but might not be ideal for those who prefer milder flavors.
Our server Carolina was excellent, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving us space to enjoy our meal. They checked in just enough to ensure we had everything we needed without being intrusive.
Overall, the Pegasus Restaurant delivered a unique dining experience with a strong New Mexico influence. If you’re a fan of green chiles or enjoy a bit of spice, this spot is definitely worth checking out. For us, it was a great stop on our way to...
