No way. This was our first time here. My initial impression was very positive. I placed an order to pick up and the staff was very friendly. We brought the food home and this is when things went south. My daughter ordered the beef Pho. They added so much sugar it tasted like a sugar broth. Pho can have rock sugar but not enough to sweeten this much. I ordered the drunken noodles with beef and yet another dish that was too sweet. I also ordered the chicken pad Thai , this was so dry and yet again too sweet. I know pad Thai can be sweet with the peanut sauce but dang, someone was heavy handed with the sugar today. I also ordered a side of sticky rice and it is hard, not even edible. I initially called to tell them about the Pho before I tried anything else. The manager was very polite and apologized and immediately offered a refund. Thank you for that. After I tried our other food, especially the rock hard sticky rice, I called back to tell them I wouldn’t mind bringing the order back. I wanted him to know I wasn’t a customer to just complain and get a refund. I wanted him to know that we truly had a poor experience. He could have offered to remake our food but instead he started to get defensive. Said he wouldn’t be refunding the remainder of our order and that so many people come back again and again for their menu and that this is the way their food tastes. Said there was nothing more he could do. I didn’t want the refund. I would have preferred they remake the food. I then asked him if it is normal that their sticky rice is hard, he said he couldn’t comment on that because he didn’t see the food before it went out. He then proceeded to tell me, go ahead, give us a bad review. I wasn’t planning on it until he became rude. He then said our conversation was going nowhere and he hung up. I was never disrespectful towards him, I didn’t get loud or an attitude. But he felt the need to hang up on a customer. An unsatisfied...
Read moreThis was an amazing find! We were visiting Cedar City for the high school mountain biking championships and came here for dinner based on the reviews, and we weren't disappointed. It is a small restaurant with a quaint and inviting atmosphere. The smaller dining area allowed for good dinner conversation without a lot of ambient noise. The staff were attentive and genuinely nice - not the fake "I need to constantly smile to get a tip" exhibited by most wait staff these days.
The menu was just the right size with a good selection, but not too many options to cause decision making paralysis. I ordered the curry pho, and the waiter winked at me and said I chose the best item on the menu - and he was right - it was spectacular! Truly, one of the best dishes I've had. I ordered a 3/5 for spicy, and it was pretty dang hot - a touch spicier than what I normally like, and I'm a pretty avid spice lover. But the spice level is true to authentic Thai restaurants, so be warned! The serving size was HUGE - it was enough food for two meals, easily. My wife got the mixed vegetable delight, and she gave it high marks as well. The vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly - slightly soft on the outside and still crunchy on the inside. The sauce was a really nice flavor - one I wish I could replicate at home, but know I never will.
We loved this restaurant so much, we came back for lunch the next day, and true to form, the experience was consistent and we enjoyed another rock solid experience! The next time I travel through Cedar City, I will absolutely be stopping here ( I joked with my wife that I'd consider the drive from Salt Lake just...
Read moreScouted this place on line and it had great reviews and as we were traveling through the area, we decided to give it a try. It was a little hard to find as it is actually on an upper floor of a building on the corner of Main and Centre with the name sign facing south on Centre. My husband loves pho so he ordered the spicy beef pho and liked it. I had the small bowl of Tomorrow Yum soup and it was excellent, the flavour was incredible 😋 I also ordered one of their specials - curry spareribs *see menu pic. And it was exceptionally good. It came with rice, carrots, green beans, onion and snow peas in one of the most unique tasty sauces I’ve ever had. I could barely taste curry probably because the coconut tamed it down. Service was friendly and helpful in terms of what spice level to choose. I’m a bit of a weakling but a 2/5 was perfect for me! Hubby ordered a 3 but wished he would have ordered a 4 as he loves spicy. Each dish came with a tasty deep-fried wanton chip or two with a speckling of a spicy sauce and they were a treat too. Our meals came quickly and the prices were very reasonable. Would definitely...
