Was very excited to eat at Chili's for the first time, what a waste of time this was. It wasn't a great sign when we noticed the manager was sitting casually at the bar with two women for over half an hour while the staff worked hard to seat guests as quickly as possible. As someone who has worked in the service industry I try to be as understanding as possible when it comes to long wait times, kitchen back ups and things that are out of the waitresses/waiters control. However, when issues are brought to your attention it should prompt you to try and let the customer know you care. Our wait time to get seated wasn't bad and we were served our drinks rather quickly. We ordered an appetizer while we looked over the menu. It then took 47 mins to get an appetizer while multiple tables were sat and had their food delivered while we waited. My water cup had a piece of plastic mixed in that I originally thought was ice. When I wanted to bring it to the waitresses attention she brushed it off as if it was nothing, not the right move in my opinion. After waiting another 15 mins for our food we asked for the check to pay for our drinks and appetizer and we couldn't leave fast enough. Again our waitresses was unfazed and simple said "Sorry it's been a busy night." We weren't looking for anything to be offered just simply an acknowledgement that we were having a bad experience. Will absolutely not be returning and wish I could give a lower rating, I don't think this particular establishment deserves even a...
Read moreChili's is always great! This visit had a long wait time due to corona, so we put our name on the wait list and sat outside. After 30 minutes, I notice that they had only 4 tables being used, and they were seating every group that came in with NO wait time, so I went up and asked how much longer for our table. They sat is right away, so our name might have been missed somehow. After we had our obligatory chips, salsa and guacamole (soooo addicting!!) we enjoyed our dinner and I secretly paid for a dessert for my husband for his birthday at the bar. All food came quickly, prepared well. The service seemed great. It was 1015pm. They were cleaning up to close at 11pm, so a few things were missed (they didn't take the time to do anything for my husband except quickly drop off his dessert and whisper happy birthday in passing, which was a disappointment since I had tipped extra when I ordered and paid for it. I had hoped for something a little special for him since we had just spent over 2 hours stranded in the hot mountains and had to break a window in our truck to rescue ourselves, making us very hungry and thirsty and tired. Unfortunately, it was just kind of dismissed) but overall it was a decent enough dinner. We had requested extra water to be brought during the whole meal They continuously brought water. We never ran out! This is huge when you've been standing outside in the heat. Servers who remember this are always tipped extra from us! Chili's is usually a pretty good bet for...
Read moreI love Chili's food. I'm a boneless buffalo wings fan for life (I'm lazy, I just want to put it in my mouth, enjoy it, and be done with it, instead of cleaning off my face or disposing of a bone). Not just the BBWs but I enjoy their atmosphere and their food a lot as well. If you ask my wife where I pick to go on dates, chances are it's here (until a Buffalo Wild Wings comes to town #sorrywingers).
However, this location has had inconsistencies in its staffing. On my first visit our hostess and waitress were incredible! I felt like I was someone that they were happy to see, and not just the next patron to walk through the door. When I had questions about the city (this was before I moved here) the waitress was very willing to answer my questions and provide directions as best she could (she was a little new to the area herself).
My next visit the host was great, but my waitress appeared to have forgotten about us. After not seeing her for about 15 minutes after she came to introduce herself we finally had to grab someone else. We were told that our first waitress had left for the day. So, someone dropped the ball, whether it was her, or someone else that she may have communicated with, I don't know.
Other visits have been pretty standard, either they've been great, or they've been unremarkable. I typically judge my experiences on whether my glass stays full or not. Overall, I'd say that this location does pretty good with keeping me hydrated (whether I'm drinking...
